Yeah it sounds like "Isengard second full length". But there is nothing wrong to respect ancestors. Hellbringer did early Slayer stuff and Gruesome steps path of Death. It's same as tributeband, but difference is at you are creating new songs.

Right? It's clearly a tribute to those pioneers. I mean, people just should read the Title of the EP :D It can't be more obvious.
I like that I can listen to something new in that style in 2019.
