Now when I know that Clair de Lune is not Debussys Clair de Lune I can appreciate it in another way. For example for its slow sentimentality and the way Èlia brings this feeling to us.
Perhaps some classical music is not made for jazz, even if it is Debussy, I find nothing of the fascination the original "Clair de Lune" brings to me in this very odd performance, so long from the original version. I cant even hear the main melody in this.
