I love how the lyrics comes together to tell a complete story about Taiga's character arc regarding her feelings for Ryuji. Spiral absolutely nailed those vocals as well, it was amazing!!
My request for a full cover would be for Ideal White (UBW OP 1), and if Sachi could do the vocals again it would probably be my favorite English cover of all time alongside this one!!

Well, there can be all sorts of reasons, maybe there's a different filter, or maybe a shorter song just has a different feel to it. But I think that the main reason is that a voice can change a lot in 9 years.

Usually the direct translation doesn't necessarily match up with the syllable count of the song or flow very well with the melody so we change it up a bit just to make it easier to sing/fit a more western song structure. It's more for creativity and seeing if we can make something that is as close to the original as possible while putting our own style on it.
