Fun fact this is also the same knife used on the Friday the 13th posters which is extremely iconic. This knife is the single most famous knife in horror second to Michael’s kitchen knife.
The Buck 120 is such an underrated knife. I saw the destruction test on the 120 on Joeyx channel and that knife took such a beating and even I was surprised. I went out and bought one and it reminds me of my old Kabar, but it really is a great knife. I wish there were as many Buck 120 stories than the 119 special.
Got my first 119 and 120 because of Scream. I bought more 120s bc I just LOVE them, they're gorgeous and super sharp out of box. Just recieved a 120 General Pro with the S35VN steel and it was shaving sharp out of box. Buck's shipping is fast with mine getting here in just 4 days. Overall it's the perfect American made modern Bowie knife and deserves the recognition. Besides the killer, this knife was the star of the movie
I own two Buck 119's.....A vintage one from the early 90's with the old 425M steel (not the lower grade 420HC steel used today) and a 2023 Buck 119 Pro with the SV35N. The SV35N is probably the best steel Buck has ever used on a 119 or 120. Absolutely razor sharp and it retains its edge a lot, lot longer than the standard model. Now....if Buck would get real and make a Magnacut version of the 119, 120 and 124. That would be impressive.
I was sitting on the fence on this blade for a while. This video has finally given me the push to commit to it. You've sold me. Just bought one today. Top stuff gents!
Thank you so much for comparing the two models. I literally had the 119 which is like one model off. Man, it’s a great knife tho sharp as hell and ready for damage 😂
Beautiful knife! I like it as much as the S0G Seal Pup. I will tell you, however, that the export/markup costs make it very expensive in Europe (or at least Poland). It costs 130-150$ new...
I'm kind of pissed about how popular Scream made this knife cause now I can't pick one up for no less than 200 when I used to be able to get one for less than 100 bucks....no pun intended lol or was it...nah I'm not pissed about it but it is true.
They used the 119 and the 120 in the Scream movies. You guys are really awesome, we need more people of the gay community into knives, keep going on your great work !!!!!!
The 119 is now $75 and the harbor freight version is $25 and objectively has better build quality than either of my 119s, the steel holds an edge longer and the leather sheath is softer by a country mile compared to the buck
Such a great classic American Knife! One I need to get. Great video guys 👍
It certainly is an American mainstay! Definitely need one in your collection.
I think the price of the knife right now is too expensive. I just got one for 105 with tax from amazon
Kinda the only reason i bought this knife was because of scream, but its also really nice to know its fully capable of much more then looking cool.
Oh, it’s definitely a capable blade! One worth much more fanfare than it received from its movie stardom.
@äpplet 1234 i’ve seen these things go through car doors and survive

Buck 120, 119, 110 are all Classics!
I only watch scream for the Buck 120, it’s my favorite character in the films
Thank you so much for comparing the two models. I literally had the 119 which is like one model off. Man, it’s a great knife tho sharp as hell and ready for damage 😂
About the knife, the problem is the slippery handle. So I wrapped the black part of the handle in black grip tape. Still looks good.
Inexpensive? Oh my
Someone should contact Buck Knives to find out how many hundreds of thousands of extra Buck 120 knives were sold during the Scream movie series era.
The #Buck120 also shows up well on film, form and size. 🎥
Thanks for the video. I got the General Pro upgraded version.
Halloween kill’s knives 🔪 👀
I got a buck 120 at an antique store for 45 bucks
Recently, bought a #Buck120 pro and looking forward to go out camping soon. I've started EDCing the #Buck102 pro last month, in the SFBA too.
You love to hear it! Hard to beat ‘em! Enjoy it’s first outing in the wilderness.
Phenolic was used on a lot of Germam WW2 Dress Daggers 🗡

Prices are going up on those, 119 is $75 and the 120 is over $100 now. Glad i got mine when they were $50 at walmart.
Actually I just bought one today with including tax it's like 80 bucks... I'm kind of wondering when you bought yours maybe inflation wasn't as high
@@subninja8069 On their website dude, their own listing. Sales from stores are great but not the normal price.
Main issue in have had with the 120 is find a horizontal/scout sheath for it.
love love LOVE this knife! Great collectors item. :)
wow no likes
i always wondered if the buck 120 is better then the bayonet m9
Is it full tang or rat tail?
Harbor Freight sells a knockoff of the 119.... not the 120.
Cool video guys !
My name is buck, and I came here to …..
I'm kind of pissed about how popular Scream made this knife cause now I can't pick one up for no less than 200 when I used to be able to get one for less than 100 bucks....no pun intended lol or was it...nah I'm not pissed about it but it is true.
did he really say that buck 120 is $50 bucks cuz I paid $1010 out the door for mine 🤔
The 120 is $105 from Buck directly
Cliffhanger…..The Edge….. The Hunted
2 of those are already on the list!! Great picks!
@@TheClipPoint curious which wasn’t on the list
@@chrisreuther4546 Cliffhanger, but it is now!
I feel like such a nerd for that but it pisses me of how in some fanarts and even scenes, Ghostface is not holding the knife correctly
Btw in the first movie they remodded the 119 in the first scream movie. The buck 120 was later used in the next films have a good day
The buck 120 was always used in scream
The 120 is called the General land it's $104.99 from Buck
They used the 119 and the 120 in the Scream movies. You guys are really awesome, we need more people of the gay community into knives, keep going on your great work !!!!!!

The buck 19 there's nothing more than the American wakizash ori tanto
Where can you buy a real one ?
