@@ThatExpatMom There was a restaurant I can’t think of the name but it’s probably my favorite restaurant in El Salvador. There’s two levels and it’s pretty much in front of the rock, the real big rock that’s in the ocean. I love that restaurant I got to figure out what the name of it is

One of my favorite videos to date! How do you get those amazing aerial shots? Highlights for me was Carol's fish lunch talking, Luna's underwater video of the colorful pool light, your Aunt's amazing rainbow hair (#hair goals), the penguin Pebble, and the conchas which I need to try immediately. I and a friend traveled to Zunzal in January of 1977 for 3 months. We stayed in the Surfers Inn when Antonio was the guy that kept the place up. We rented the upstairs apartment after a while. From there we went to Costa Rica and Nicaragua and back to surfers Inn. The civil war was at it's very beginnings and we faced road blocks and had to use the beach to get to and from. It was scary for a while for a 20 year old. We survived and I would love to make it back one day.

I lived as a Child with my family in El Salvador from 1977 to 1979 and the life was amazing before it all felt apart but I am very happy that it has come back to what it was back then and a 1,000 times better. We belong to a club that was in Lake Ilopango and Sunzal, so it was sailing in on Saturdays and horseback riding and going to the beach on Sundays and enjoying their great hospitality and great food on both days in our own private bungalos. We have very fond memories of El Salvador. Not to mention the great Maya ruins and everything else of this very beautiful country. Glad they cleaned up the place and if they can only do the same for the rest of Latin America.
