You're wrong about Itto not profiting from Verdict's atk buff. He actually scales with atk. The reason people build him with def instead is that his burst converts a big part of his def into atk, same as Noelle's burst.
Same concept for Hu Tao converting HP into attack. That's why all of them itto, Noelle and Hu Tao can actually use Bennett for example, and use him for a while where no other buffers existed

It's funny because this comment would be downvoted to hell in any genshin subreddit, and yet it's true. It doesn't mean it's optimal nor even near to be, but it's true nonetheless. It's also a good weapon for Beidou, although it loses its value if she's paired with Bennett or Sara.
At the very least, it's a decent stat stick. Weapons that ascend with crit are never bad imo. They make building characters much easier since you need less crit substats on artifacts. Add the high base atk and free 20% atk buff on top of that, and you have a usable weapon even without the rest of the passive. Maybe not the best for a lot of claymore characters, but also far from being the worst.
This weapon is good for Beidou's skill, since she can also apply electro offield, you can use other geo chara to make crystalize shield and keep the stacks on
I have serpent spine R3, I tried this weapon on Beidou and even her ult damage more than doubled, sure I could take the last 2 refinement into account but I really doubt it would make up for the difference
It can be ok, but not great. Even if her skill can do well, Beidou does half (if not majority) of her damage with burst. Verdict's passive is only for skill. It is much more worth it to get Serpent Spine that increases both by a huge amount. Her burst is so good that getting Aquoumaru is almost as good as SS.
@@iamurkizda no, she wouldn't. I tried Beidou hyperbloom, she doesn't activate blooms well at all. She needs another electro on the team for bloom activation or anemo driver like Sucrose. That takes up the fourth member slot.
i was actually thinking this with like beidou, albedo/geo mc, and support/healer in the last 2 slots like with nahida/dendro mc/collei and fischl in the last slot.

@@tackofall5456 Yes but these are Genshin players so they only see big funni number rather than her burst having one of the highest total MV%s in the game. Only time her skill makes up that big of a portion of her damage is in pure single-target or scenarios where there's more enemies present than her burst can bounce to, maybe a bit more if you're able to fit multiple full counters per rotation. Otherwise her burst alone is pretty much like 75~85% of her damage profile assuming the usual 1 E + Fischl team.
My immediate thought on this weapon was "Oh shoot I can finally put Beidou and Ningguang on the same team and have great synergy with them!" This would be a good weapon for Beidou in a ShockRock Team Comp. Her Switch Parry would really hit hard with these passives :O

I usually don't play Geo characters but after testing Navia in the test run domain more than 20 times, I decided to pull for her. She's so much fun to play albeit her team comp is not the best. I managed to get her in 58 pulls and her signature weapon on 25 pulls. I got extremely luck on the weapon banner. The best team so far for me is Zhongli + Bennett + Raiden + Navia. Raiden is such a reliable unit to proc crystalize shard with her skill & Navia burst. Plus, both Navia & Raiden can utilize Bennett buff. It's like having 2 quick swap DPS on this team.
If you have Zhongli (which I wouldn't be surprised if like 50%+ of genshin players had him), than this weapon works on good number of characters: Chongyun, Diluc, Razor, Eula, Dehya, Freminet, Beidou...

Damage scaling with Chongyun weirdly correlates with the Verdicts dmg buffs given Chongyun Forces Cryo infusion he can forcibly spawn ice crystalized shards it doesn't happen often tho so that's why I said "ODDLY" and "Pretty Strange" because it's Not consistent but when it does work it's noticable. I think itto can actually use it if there's a flex 4th slot like kukki or mona, the seals last for 15 seconds with seemingly no cooldown, so he can probably do 2 fully buffed ushis in a single rotation.

As a dehya main and previous itto main those weapons are already occupied by dehya and itto and i dont like having characters share weapons either so i pulled verdict. Its great for my navia and it looks so cool too!
Verdict and SS R5 is not close in dmg what are you smoking lol... we are talking about at least 10%.. If you are hitting 400k thats 40k dmg loss and SS needs you to wait while Verdict is unconditional.. If you have WGS R5 from losing too many 50/50 that is same dmg as Verdict with no gimmicks too..
its good for every claymore ever, as long as you get 2 crystallized crystals before 15 seconds end and then oyu unleash their elemental skill for that 36% elemental skill damage

I think Verdict is very good if you have albedo, he produces a decent amount of crystalize and deals dmg, so i think any claymore user with an albedo pair would be great
Going for mistsplitter I got two Verdicts and for the first time I thought about refining a 5* weapon since its that niche, of course I'll use it on Navia when I get her but I have WGS and a R5 Serpent Spine for others, also I may get other 5* claymores like Redhorn in the future... So I'm thinking of just accepting the +5% atk and +9% Elemental Bonus.
I say never refine a 5* weapon. No matter how niche it is. Xou can always use it as stat stick but you just never know. I sadly pulled 2 harans before getting engulfing on Ei's first rerun and since I haven't refined. Found surprisingly a lot of uses for a somewhat good base atk and crit stat stick. + Basically any character wgi does good damage with their skill can use the whole passive. fitting a geo char into a team is pretty easy imo (just a shielder zhongli/noelle etc.) and you never know who will be released in the future. Festering Desire is good af on Furina and that weapon is 1.2 exclusive xD You never know.

won 50\50 on Navia, next day won 50\50 on her axe. Honestly i dont give a f if she, or her axe, are mid iche\one trick pony\unusable without x, choose whatever you want, but god damn she looks gorgeous with her axe. Got lucky, no regrets, gonna cry in new artifact dungeon next months but I feel good.
I just got it cuz of the aesthetic lol It’s a good stat stick on Eula too for co-op and mini sword fall dmg But well only with raiden and Albedo. Both skills atk fast and I get easy two more shards before the sword drop
Verdict can be good for Itto. Itto still uses attack stats. He just converts his defense to attack. His elemental skill is super strong, too. But not as effective as his signature weapon.
I got verdict early and thinking of using it on noelle because im saving my guaranteed for raiden. Also since this is my first signature weapon, i want to use it. Will it be good on noelle? I have C1 furina. So i can play noelle furina team. Edit: or should i ignore raiden and pull for navia?
I was thinking it would work on Beidou when you do a perfect counter with her skill. Does it not proc on counter? Also off topic.. have you seen the new class in Black Desert? I think she looks amazing and gameplay looks really fun!
I think you gotta trigger crystallize with maybe her burst or her teammates can do it for her. When its at full stack, the perfect counter should have the damage bonus applied
Note on the unforged, because you're most likely using her burst at the start of the rotation you will end up having all stacks by the time you use her first skill
I put verdict on my Diluc even though I have R5 serpent spine which is theoretically better for him but having to wait for the stacks in domains/abyss, and losing the stacks to burning grass in the overworld is so annoying! And the damage difference is not noticeably different between the two, only when you put atk buffs like Bennet does the SS pull ahead. But IMO QoL + drip > tiny dps increase
While the E buff from Verdict is only good for 1 hit, you can stack it again as fast as you get crystalizes. So like with Noelle, You can have the stacks, use her E with an initial his of up to 255% def then(provided she is C4) have time to stack the buff for when her E pops for another hit of 400% attack. Which is further boosted by her DEF if her Q is up and she is C6. Though I still think Redhorn, if you have it, is better. Another point to consider with that E buff, can it snapshot? If so than for Dehya and Sayu it will last the duration of their Es. But avoid the recast on Dehya. But is the Elemental skill damage bonus from the weapon a stat that can snapshot is the question. Normally Elemental skill damage bonus isn't but the same goes for All damage bonus, which for some weapons can still be snapshotted. So it's worth testing.
You can still easily get crystalize reactions with Zhongli or Albedo if you want to run this weapon on a non geo character. And it has no downtime iirc, so just getting new stacks for the next skill is really not that much of a deal. Your other points still stand tho
I have a lot of Claymore users on my team, andI main Diluc, Noelle, so I definitely pulled for this with Navia so I didn’t need to take one of their weapons to place on her.
They must be implementing my suggestions. I send them every survey. Created a note pad and copy past for it each time. Now they need the icon filter available like on the site map.
P.S. you're missing some mechanics concerning using it with anyone else. It can work. I pref sigs on who they were designed for. Saves for having to rebuild or team comp to have it fit on another.
I'm really thinking if I should pull for this weapon, while having R4 Wolf's Gravestone. So much Atk% could be kinda wasted on Navia with Bennett and Pyro resonance.
Imo it isn't a bad weapon purely because of the Crit increase. The passive may not be as universal as other crit weapons like ayakas weapon but it's still a crit weapon. I'd definitely recommend getting any crit weapons before other main stats for 5 stars. Especially since crit weapons are very limited for F2P 4 stars. Currently I'm using it on Dehya until i get Navia eventually (was going for Ayakas but got Navias on the first 10 pull), abd and it's not doing to bad, especially compared to the 4 stars i had. So it really depends on your account and what you feel like you need too. If you have a lot of good claymores already thay already cover crit then you probably don't need it unless you wanna make your Navia as strong as possible.
The drop rates for those purple dudes are high but when it comes to crabs and other seas monsters are way too low...farming for those things makes you feel sorry for them but at the same time angry cause the drop rate is below 1%🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm pretty sure Verdict passive doesn't stack to 36%. I think it just gives 18% and you can use it twice in a row if you have two charges and the weapon just says you can only have two charges held at a time which makes sense with Navia since she has two charges of her skill... which means with Diluc, you can at least get the bonus on two of his three skill hits but it's a bit unfortunate that the first two are a little weaker than the third one and also, it's unlikely you'll be using an off-field geo character in a Diluc team just to get crystalize cuz it will likely weaken the hydro aura on enemies you just put on with Xingqiu or Yelan so you can vape on him thus, in a combat scenario, increasing the chances that you don't get to vape his skill and/or the normal attacks you weave in between each skill hit plus the fact that most people are likely to use Yelan than Xingqiu because of her passive to further boost Diluc's already low(for 2023 standards anyway) damage and Yelan applies a bit less hydro than Xingqiu so it makes it even harder to keep hydro on enemies when you're also doing crystalize and making it more likely to miss vapes.

If it goes away 0.2s after dealing damage, would it keep refreshing with Sayu as long as you've got somebody doing enough Geo application to allow an element-absorbed roll to keep dropping crystals? I mean, it's not GOOD, but it sounds funny. Not sure who could even do that except Albedo or some sort of Geo Traveler + Zhongli microwave setup. Diluc also theoretically could use the passive if you could somehow generate and pick up 1-2 crystals between every E tap. Also looking at the Optimizer it's surprisingly competitive with WGS on Diluc even without the passive in play, but both are often worse than Serpent Spine, especially with Bennett, so yeah.
I’m starting to think the r5 f2p weapon from the event rn will be on par if not maybe slightly worse than verdict since it gives more atk from the passive melussistance

just compare the base stats with the battlepass greatsword and the weapon is insane even without the 20% attack bonus

2:30 Because there a whole 27 breachers in the whole map the drop rate is much bigger than other enemies.

Those mobs always dropped more since they released, probably because there are only few of them around the map.

I was thinking about it and if you have Gorou his ultimate picks up crystal shards for you and if he’s C4 his ultimate heals you too

I sadly pulled 2 harans before getting engulfing on Ei's first rerun and since I haven't refined. Found surprisingly a lot of uses for a somewhat good base atk and crit stat stick.
+ Basically any character wgi does good damage with their skill can use the whole passive. fitting a geo char into a team is pretty easy imo (just a shielder zhongli/noelle etc.) and you never know who will be released in the future. Festering Desire is good af on Furina and that weapon is 1.2 exclusive xD You never know.

I was still thinking if I should refine it since it's also niche but thank the melusines I did not bcs it's Wriothesley's 2nd bis and I have him now lol

Verdict can be good for Itto. Itto still uses attack stats. He just converts his defense to attack. His elemental skill is super strong, too. But not as effective as his signature weapon.
I got verdict early and thinking of using it on noelle because im saving my guaranteed for raiden. Also since this is my first signature weapon, i want to use it. Will it be good on noelle? I have C1 furina. So i can play noelle furina team.
Edit: or should i ignore raiden and pull for navia?

usually the goal of a signature weapon is to be good with the character ofc it's made to be good mostly woth only that character

I think you gotta trigger crystallize with maybe her burst or her teammates can do it for her. When its at full stack, the perfect counter should have the damage bonus applied
Hear me out, with beidou’s passive, if you perfectly time it, you can benefit from verdict on her skill.
Note on the unforged, because you're most likely using her burst at the start of the rotation you will end up having all stacks by the time you use her first skill
I put verdict on my Diluc even though I have R5 serpent spine which is theoretically better for him but having to wait for the stacks in domains/abyss, and losing the stacks to burning grass in the overworld is so annoying! And the damage difference is not noticeably different between the two, only when you put atk buffs like Bennet does the SS pull ahead. But IMO QoL + drip > tiny dps increase

Time to pull for Navia I guess. I wanted the Key for Layla but yeah
While the E buff from Verdict is only good for 1 hit, you can stack it again as fast as you get crystalizes. So like with Noelle, You can have the stacks, use her E with an initial his of up to 255% def then(provided she is C4) have time to stack the buff for when her E pops for another hit of 400% attack. Which is further boosted by her DEF if her Q is up and she is C6. Though I still think Redhorn, if you have it, is better.
Another point to consider with that E buff, can it snapshot? If so than for Dehya and Sayu it will last the duration of their Es. But avoid the recast on Dehya. But is the Elemental skill damage bonus from the weapon a stat that can snapshot is the question. Normally Elemental skill damage bonus isn't but the same goes for All damage bonus, which for some weapons can still be snapshotted. So it's worth testing.
You can still easily get crystalize reactions with Zhongli or Albedo if you want to run this weapon on a non geo character. And it has no downtime iirc, so just getting new stacks for the next skill is really not that much of a deal. Your other points still stand tho

I have a lot of Claymore users on my team, andI main Diluc, Noelle, so I definitely pulled for this with Navia so I didn’t need to take one of their weapons to place on her.

Verdict is best on Navia but Freminet can use it but it will change your rotation with him

P.S. you're missing some mechanics concerning using it with anyone else. It can work.
I pref sigs on who they were designed for. Saves for having to rebuild or team comp to have it fit on another.

I'm really thinking if I should pull for this weapon, while having R4 Wolf's Gravestone. So much Atk% could be kinda wasted on Navia with Bennett and Pyro resonance.

Imo it isn't a bad weapon purely because of the Crit increase. The passive may not be as universal as other crit weapons like ayakas weapon but it's still a crit weapon. I'd definitely recommend getting any crit weapons before other main stats for 5 stars. Especially since crit weapons are very limited for F2P 4 stars.
Currently I'm using it on Dehya until i get Navia eventually (was going for Ayakas but got Navias on the first 10 pull), abd and it's not doing to bad, especially compared to the 4 stars i had. So it really depends on your account and what you feel like you need too. If you have a lot of good claymores already thay already cover crit then you probably don't need it unless you wanna make your Navia as strong as possible.
The drop rates for those purple dudes are high but when it comes to crabs and other seas monsters are way too low...farming for those things makes you feel sorry for them but at the same time angry cause the drop rate is below 1%🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm pretty sure Verdict passive doesn't stack to 36%. I think it just gives 18% and you can use it twice in a row if you have two charges and the weapon just says you can only have two charges held at a time which makes sense with Navia since she has two charges of her skill...
which means with Diluc, you can at least get the bonus on two of his three skill hits but it's a bit unfortunate that the first two are a little weaker than the third one and also, it's unlikely you'll be using an off-field geo character in a Diluc team just to get crystalize cuz it will likely weaken the hydro aura on enemies you just put on with Xingqiu or Yelan so you can vape on him thus, in a combat scenario, increasing the chances that you don't get to vape his skill and/or the normal attacks you weave in between each skill hit plus the fact that most people are likely to use Yelan than Xingqiu because of her passive to further boost Diluc's already low(for 2023 standards anyway) damage and Yelan applies a bit less hydro than Xingqiu so it makes it even harder to keep hydro on enemies when you're also doing crystalize and making it more likely to miss vapes.
I unironically pulled for it, just because I think it looks amazing on Eula

If it goes away 0.2s after dealing damage, would it keep refreshing with Sayu as long as you've got somebody doing enough Geo application to allow an element-absorbed roll to keep dropping crystals? I mean, it's not GOOD, but it sounds funny. Not sure who could even do that except Albedo or some sort of Geo Traveler + Zhongli microwave setup.
Diluc also theoretically could use the passive if you could somehow generate and pick up 1-2 crystals between every E tap. Also looking at the Optimizer it's surprisingly competitive with WGS on Diluc even without the passive in play, but both are often worse than Serpent Spine, especially with Bennett, so yeah.
Imagine if handguards drop are like that (totally not farming for raiden)
