    Thank you Joe, you really do coax the best possible tones our of the Z-Master, and this is no exception!

    Now you only need a proper Tape Delay and you've achieved your goal of a proper "vintage" inspired board Joe

    Ah my Z-Verb Tank. I know it's gone to a good home I'll miss it. Enjoy, there's a few clips of this exact unit live and in band practices on my channel for anyone interested.
    There is also a video getting uploaded of this unit vs the universal audio golden getting uploaded today.
    Feels tripy seeing my unit sat there in your video. I had no idea I was selling to you. 😅

    Great demo, really gave a good idea about how it sounds. Love the verb in my EZG even though I'm not much of a reverb guy. When I got that amp it was like "oh, that's what a good spring reverb sounds like". 🤘

    Thank you, Perky, that is truly a lush reverb. I've generally preferred real plate systems except on "surf" music. but the Z-verb doesn't have "brittle" sounds. I'm curious about the spring tank Mike used. I've seen 1 or 2 springs in lengths of ~25 cm or ~40cm; what's in this thing? Also, please describe the mechanical isolation; I've had combo amps with springs that resonated much from the cabinet and an external unit that could be isolated somewhat from the speaker/cabinet. Not that one design is superior to the other, but those yield different results.

    Have you noticed any "tone-suck" on the Dr Z Verb unit? I have heard some people mention this. Thanks again for the review!

    I wonder, where you can buy or play this unit. It seems to be impossible to find a store in Europe. I am looking for the best tube driven reverb available. Mainly for authentic surf sound and I think this box can deliver that. Is it based on the 6g15 circuit? Which spring tank are they using? Do you know the Victoria reverberator? If yes, does it come close to it‘s sound? Thx man!

    Nice video. Nice sounds.
    What reverb tank does it use? Low input impedance tank and driver tube pushing it through OT, or high impedance tank and transformerless driver stage?

    • @DrZAmplification
      @DrZAmplification Рік тому +1

      low impedance, transformer based

      No wonder, because that's the way it should be done IMO as well. 👍

    I have one - but my guitar playing isn’t good enough to get the most out of it tbh. Mine might also need a service - I think I’m the 5th owner or so.
