I think a cylinder has 3 faces. I'm doing a maths course (in england) and they say 3 faces, and on Google it says 3 as well

Yes there are 3 faces in cylinder but 2 faces are flat and 1 face is curved so total faces of cylinder is 2 flat +1 curved face = 3 face

As an edge is when two faces meet, and a curved surface is not a face, then a cylinder has no edges.
