Thanks for the video mate. I was at Halfords last night and I gave her my registration number and the database said no data available. I couldn't get the bulb holder out either. Now I know what the part number is and how to get the bulb holder out im very grateful.
I'm glad you were able to find the video, and it's offered up some help to you. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of databases or Haynes manuals on this year of van. Austin
I've got a 2015 Vauxhall Vivaro. The location seemed slightly different than on the Renault which made it a lot eadier to access. Had real difficulty squeezing the 2 plastic tabs together to release the bulb and in doing so broke one of the 2 tabs off. Bulb then slid out with ease. When I came to replace the other side one of the tabs was already broken off. Thankfully this doesn't seem to affect its fit at all. Replaced both bulbs with bosch. Great vid 🫡
Thanks mate, I had trouble getting the bulb holder out, pressing the levers and trying to pull wasn't working so whilst pressing the levers I got a small slotted screwdriver just to ease it out and it worked fine.
Thanks for posting video, just changed bulb. Just for info, bulb was not budging from holder, had to use a small screwdriver to prise it out while holding in the lugs. Might help someone else.
Information and knowledge is power. I'm glad you were able to find the video. This design of bulb holder wasn't the smartest innovation by GM. The longer the bulbs are in there, the worst the lamp holder is to remove
My van hasn't had any issues whatsoever in regards of normal running life. It's just reached 45,000 miles never failed an MOT and that's down to extensive preventative maintenance
@@TheDrum2010 I've owned a Renault traffic and now own a Vivaro both 2016....both vans engine blown up after around 90,000 miles... bought a brand new engine for the vauxhall...with labour at a vauxhall main dealer ..£10,000...that's a year ago... since no problems with anything else...I'm still crying a bit though 😭😂
@@petevan8942 i have a problem with losing cooling water all the time, i was in different car repairs, even Renault car repair didn´t find the problem, so i´m filling it up week after week. :( besides the Turbo broke and i had to change it, btw i can tell it`s very expensive and the alternator is not working as it should so thats the next thing i sink my money in 🙈

Thanks for watching. Yes, the release tabs do get brittle with age. It's probably the worst automotive lamp holder I've ever seen
Thank You, today I had a problem to change it. Problem solved.
Greetings from Poland🤝
Glad you got it sorted and the video may of helped. Greetings from Devon UK

Hello Simon, glad the video was easily found and offered you some assistance. Austin
Thanks for the vid, £2.99 bulb and 10mins and I was done. Just about managed it without taking the brace off thankfully. Nice one!😊

It does appear that way as it's the only service part missing. I can't even get a Haynes manual for mine as they seem to have left out this model
