Hey Kevin, I just stumbled on this video. It was nice video and all but what great memories you will have with the girls in the canoe with you. Love it. I do the same with my kids.
I absolutely loved your video. The camping pack info was good but the family quality content was sensational. I've brought all my children (now 20 years old) into the park and we love it there.
Back when my kids were that age, we (as a family) spent too much time in competitive sports. And this continued for many years. Now that my kids are around 30 y/o, I realized that we should have spent less time committing ourselves to competitive sports and more time in a canoe. Not that sports are bad--both my sons are really good athletes and in great shape--but neither are into competitive sports anymore. Canoeing and back country tripping is a lifelong activity that is great for the whole family. Canoeing and tripping is not a spectator activity...everyone is involved!!
Hey, Kevin & Crew; Great 2 C the load-out of things. What ? That's It ? 'cmon U 'gotta show us more-more ! U Know we need it ! LOL Thanks 4 sharing this with us. It was a hoot. Happy Trails From Down The Path A Piece ATB Terry " GOD BLESS "
Hey those Salus PFDs are awesome! Where can I pick one of those up in Ontario? You know, I've thought of getting one of those big, dryback type canoe packs for those colder trips. My 48L Osprey is awesome, but it just doesn't have enough room once the temp starts to drop. Does the lack of a frame take it's toll on the longer portages?
It's Nova Craft's version of Kevlar. It's a different product name but I find it very durable. It's my second canoe with that material. Very pleased with it.
This is wholesome stuff and great information! More families need to connect and have these kinds of experiences outdoors

Great video, good laughs too. Glad to see you're doing well Kevin.
The leather won't break so easily with a little maintenance. I've had my one pack for over 22 yrs with all but one original straps. Enjoy your vids.

I love your humor and your videos as always.

Canadian Outdoor Equipment store has them in Mississauga ON
Kevin where can I get that big yellow dry bag for pack?
It was made by Ostrom Outdoors. I'm not sure if he makes them still. Check his website or Barrel Works web site.
@@TheHappyCamper thank you!!
Hi, Just wondering what paddle your daughter is using. I am looking for something for my 7 year old son. Love "tripping" with kids!
Badger makes a kid sizes Beaver tail.
Hey thanks for letting me know!
Is the canoe a Composite Creation Expedition?? If yes, how do you like it??

cool. Thank you.
You’re a good daddy!

👌🏻 👏🏻 😂 🤭 🙏🏻 Nice
Using a tump looks terrifying. All i can think of is a minor slip turning into a broken neck. Please tell me its nothing like that.
