I'm so confused as to why so many English speakers have forgotten how to pluralize nouns in the last couple years. I swear, 9 times out of 10 nowadays, people use 's (which is supposed to be the possessive form) when they want to make something plural. My friends, the plural is just an "s" at the end, no apostrophe. If the word ends in "y" then it becomes "ies". Personality --> personalities. This has been your 1st grade grammar lesson of the day.

@@pigchamp3627 he literally did. To date England's and one of world footballs ever youngest defenders. Arguably the greatest right back of all time Carlos Alberto named him as one of the best young defender he's ever seen. So, I'd say you're fun with how little you know.

I also think the English overhype their footballers but Micah was on the radar of some big clubs in Europe. If city didn't have the money from the ADUG 2008 acquisition, they probably wouldn't be able to keep him.

@@tobyhellewell5981 Micah Richards was a top young defender, it's a fact and I remember it clearly when he suddenly was raved about. He wasn't playing in no farmer's league either, and he didn't play for my team so i'm not biased towards him nor am I English.

Sky Sports need to release more of these videos for two reasons - one as the chemistry and banter is hilarious, and two because the only behind the scenes people have seen of Sky Sports are the Richard Keys' ones where he's telling Jamie Redknapp that he was "hanging out of the back of her".

In as much as a defender can ever 'burst onto the scene' I think it is fair to say there was quite some buzz about Micah as a youngster. He made his England debut after very few clubs appearances, so yes, he did make quite an impression. Shame it was just a flash in the pan.

The main reason Micah Richard's never quite made it to being a World Class player was injuries more than anything else. By 23 he'd survived the influx of stars at City and won the Premier League and FA Cup. Plus he was England's youngest ever defender, and had 13 caps. Injuries were the reason he never kicked on. Not talent.
