I know someone who worked themselves up to a director, working in a call center without any qualifications just matric and he earns R150k per month. Also know another guy who is also a director in another call center who earns R200k to R250k per month. No qualifications yet over 10-15years of experience. It's possible without a degree!

@brandinmichael5475 Industries are different. Wrong needs to compare apples with apples. I'm not anti anything, and what you are saying is possible, and I believe in it. I just published a video on high earning jobs with no degree. The highest was around this amount

@@liferesetwithboni industries are different, I agree! But it's about time that people see how useless a degree is nowadays. Offcourse there are industries which are thriving hence a degree is needed but most are useless.
10-15 years ago a diploma/matric would take you very very far, now times have changed

My worry is how low the retirement contributions are for these pay slips. Boni, please consider doing a video on the tax benefits associated with increasing retirement fund contributions. 1) Up to a certain amount, the contribution is tax free 2) Allocating more to the retirement fund reduces the tax paid!

Female - Safety Officer (Too many female OHS officers. As a man, you would be at a disadvantage in this career. Opt for Quality instead.)

@@NtandoMbele (32 year old male). OHS was my 3rd option, 2nd was electrician then 1st was finance. Reason i pick artisan is cause i could get an apprenticeship now compared to finance which requires a degree by then i would have exceeded the age limit (35) of being hired.

Well it depends on the company but my advice is to start looking for a job now. Qualification backed by experience will always put you in a better position. If you get a job, you can continue with your btec then mtech on a part-time basis.
Do the new professional MEng or the one from EIT. They will allow you to register as a professional engineer with ECSA

I was a CSI project manager for Top Gear Festival (South Africa) on that job, but I've been a smme coach for 15 years, where I helped smme to migrate to digital marketing. I'm a full-time content creator now, and I don't do that work anymore.

I will say , Millwright. It's the combination of electrical and fitting. So you can be employed as a fitter, electrician or Millwright.
But follow your passion. I'm a Millwright.

@@mandzisim6886 there's possibility that they are registered as technologist since they did national diploma. Things have changed though you can now register as engineer with a masters.

@@Dave-ll8ly She’s right. If you want to register as a prof engineer, you can do so either through the traditional 4 year BEng/BSC route or get a Masters after your PG diploma engineering or Btech Honours.
