@@Siphida I said I'd never seen these comments before. Did I do it right?
WE DIDNT BURN HIM
For a theme tune, I always found this very atmospheric, Something you don't really get for comedies
It fits the tone of the series very well, it's more like a horror theme and the show is so dark it is like a horror comedy.
@@TyrannosaurusCHEX kinda the blueprint for Inside No 9. I love this show but these guys definitely wanted to do horror way more than comedy.
@@lewiskazinsky7334 this show is a comedy with horror elements, inside no 9 is a horror with comedy elements
One of the most perfect theme songs ever.
"Thank you for posting the letter inside me"
I used to watch this with my mum and dad in 2000-2001, I always thought this was the best work by far from that little britain/ mrs browns boys type era, it was equally hilarious and disturbing, character development and writing was brilliant. Papa lazarous and this theme song were masterpieces
The greatest theme ever
i was genuinely heartbroken when i didnt hear this even once during series 3
I've been searching for this for years! It sounds better than I remember, it has that off-beat.
If ever a theme tune complimented the show, this would rank high, beautifully sinister and a little bit creepy 😈
Probably my all time favorite show.
We don't bother the outside of UA-cam, we don't want it bothering us
Just watched series 1-2 again of this with the family again. It's such an awesome show.
+Stephen's YTP's Can't think of a finer show to share with the whole family :D
@@Anthony_Joseph09 when did OP mention kids?? I binged TLoG with my family a few months ago. Two middle-aged parents and me, 19.
@@Anthony_Joseph09 the only people who think it's not for kids are the l̶i̶f̶e̶l̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶s̶a̶p̶s̶ people who weren't raised on it.
@@Anthony_Joseph09 it is for everyone. This is what you raise kids on to make them men and women of culture.
I think anyone from a small town in the UK can relate
If you aren't local, you might not enjoy this song. But we'd like to know if you aren't.
Micky love. Yes Pauline
My favourite TV shows. To watch!!
Brilliant. Best, most appropriate theme tune ever.
edit- Christ on a bike it's been two years already
"An Astronaut!"
"PISS OFF!"
"No need to be rude dear!"
I.just completed watching this on Netflix and it was wonderful. Its goes to show how British comedy is the best on the world
Thanks joby for this haunting piece of music
My insides are all wrong
I am in love with this show :D
Just heard this mixed into a house tune at a festival. Awesome
I woke up this morning an' me bed was like a butchers slab.
WELL ITS MIKE AND CHERYL'S DAY!

Perfect
I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH
They covet the precious views of this video
Thanks! i was searching all over the place for this! xD
I love the show! haha
I genuinely love this track. And the show to add!
I've only just started watching this show recently, and I can easily say that it's one of the best shows I've ever watched.
I ADORE dark humour (Invader Zim, Billy and Mandy, etc.) so it's pretty obvious why I enjoy this show so much.
Animation and Alton Towers Fan Have you seen Inside No. 9 by the same people.
Alles Klar They are on tour later this year. Grab your tickets while you can
Don't touch the things!

Hello Dave...
0:09
I live very very VERY near where that was filmed
just thought you'd like to know
Well it's close
around 640 metres
I was honestly shocked wen I found out how far it was
Still its a minutes drive from where I live
0:07 I used to live close to where that was filmed (The local shop). I went up there once, loads of bees weirdly.
Saw these guys live right at the end of the 3rd series, it was amazing, to see tubbs and Edward in the flesh lol
Thanks Dave! :3
New ringtone.
Aahhhh....I want to live in R V.
I actually do live in Royston Vasey. It's a small town called Hadfield and I live on the road in this video. That cenotaph is at the top of my road
What if you play this on Halloween?
This is a local theme song for local people
Look up "Whitehaven, cumbria" that's basically what royston vasey was based on
oh, so this is why I was humming the taskmaster theme wrong... I was humming this instead
I was there today. The Mason's arms pub is now a Tesco Express
This theme tune is catchy
Roy "Chubby' Brown ♥️ ❤️ 💖

Trying to learn this on my banjo...not easy!
Sometimes I get into Shows Later than their Original Airing eg- Father Ted!, Also this, The first time I Watched it I did not get it for Whatever Reason!, I have just Viewed first Episode of Re-Run & Loved it as it was like Airplane in as such the Gags kept on Coming and there were things to Spot continually throughout!.

Hello dave
Fucking Captain Magic
@TheVideoMenace1 But Dave you are my wife now!
Does anyone know why this show is ACTUALLY called League of Gentlemen?
It's named after an old British film; if I recall they deliberately chose a name which didn't tell you anything about the show, so as not to limit what they could do with it.
I guess as well as that, most of the roles are played by a few gentlemen.
Is it set in rotherham??
Hadfield, a small town on the border of Manchester and High Peak, roughly between Hyde and Glossop. Not that far from Rotherham as the crow flies and equally as shit.
The bbc killed the 1st series when they put the canned laughter on it. It's totally unwatchable now. Real shame.
Average British town.
@@HermitKing731 Oh, I apologise, I'm not always able to tell when something is a joke
Gosh, they just don't make them like this anymore. This show was as hot as lava in it's day. Dark twisted and funny, just what the doctor ordered. Screw Dr' who, what a terrible show. League of gentlemen absolutely wastes Dr' who. I also used to love little Britain, EHH EHH EHHHHHH!!!!
I mean, Doctor Who is great, it's just a lot more family friendly, and in the new era so far only 2/3rds of the episodes are good, but comedy doesn't have to be dark and twisted like the League of Gentlemen, it can be and that's why this works. But also, everyone from the League of Gentlemen have been in Doctor Who at least once, with Mark Gatiss actually writing multiple episodes (still waiting on Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith's episode, that would be great)
Comparing TLOG and Doctor Who is stupid. 2 entirely different shows.
@@callumocreary1253 Yeah, completely agreed. The only thing they have in common is Mark Gatiss (I won't count Christopher Eccleston's appearance in TLOG or Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith's appearances in DW, but since Gatiss wrote for both I will count that). I'd say this comment would be correct if we were just talking about Gatiss's work, but even then I don't think he's that bad on DW
i’m watching taskmaster and had to look this up to remind myself of what Ed Gamble meant when he said he mixed the two up lmao
glad I'm not the only one!
Literally the only comment I've found on most videos that relates to Taskmaster
Same ksjdjsjs
I am here doing the same thing 😂
God, we're predictable sheep. Same here, of course.
