It did everything I asked of it, the 105 groupset performed great as well. I did upgrade the wheelset though. Rode 10.000km in total and took it on a holiday to Mont Ventoux last summer. The only downside was some cable rattle/creacking inside the downtube, but that was only audible when turning the handlebars to the extremes and only when I was cleaning it, it wasn´t audible during riding. My father bought the 2021 Addict 20 disc, unfortunately by now the price has risen with 400€, but it was still the best value bike to buy for him. He´s done over 3000km with it and is still very pleased.
It's a great looking bike! Congrats! I'm also thinking of getting that bike for myself. Could you tell me something about the ride? the geomtery? :) I'm just curious if this bike will be a good choice for longer rides, some training and occasional amateur competitions. I would also consider changing tyres for 25mm or 28mm & maybe wheels in a future.
Thanks! It's my first real modern bike so everything feels great and fancy from my point of view. The 32mm tires are very comfy on cobbles or bad roads, but when pumped up harder you don't really feel any difference in resistance compared to 28mm. But since Schwalbe probably won't keep producing the skinwall version of these I might go for 28mm ones as well after these wear out.
@@ThomasC Thanks for the answer. I have opportunity to try it on Friday and this bike feels great :) One more question: how tall are you and what size of the bike do you ride? :)
I'm absolutely in love with the colour of the bike. Saddle included 🔥
