But on the higher roles of both the careers you had shared more salary in consulting firms compared to I banks, so why it's like that as the I bankers work more hours than the management consultants ? Hey, it can surely differ firm to firm. The pay you get depends on a host of factors including the clients you bring and the duration in the organization. It's not necessary that IB folks earn less than consultants at a higher management position.

Hey, not at all. You can solve as many questions as possible. Since you have time, try solving LOD 1 of all the chapters and LOD 2 of the chapters you think you can make your strength (you can also keep LOD 2 for the time when you analyze mocks and wish to improve certain topics).

With acads 70/60/70 will I ever get any problem during shorlisting for summer internship(majorly) or at the time of final placement in top b-schools,
As I heard that for summer internship companies will do shortlisting based on resume so the shortlisting will be soley based on our past academics x/xII/ug or the mba 1st sem cgpa.
And do the companies set any specific percentage mark i.e., you should have 90+/80+ something like this or only if you have 60+ in x/xII/ug and we are good to go.

Hello Hemant and Shweta, I am preparing from cat from 3 months and I am currently stuck in quant. How much time should i spend on a particular quant question when I am not able to solve in first go and move ahead to next question? For how much time should I spend thinking about it. Sometimes I spend 30 mins on a quant question and still can't come to the answer. Kindly help me cause I am worrying that my syllabus will he left out cause of this.
Sandeep it totally depends on if you know the concept or not? If you know the concept and still taking 30mins, please redo the concept.
I Consider you as my elder sister 🙂. I left quant acter 10th. And algebra is my pain point. Geomatry and arithmetic was my strong point. And when i am studying quant i am finding the same now. In algebra one need to manipulate the question to get the answer. I am unable to do that. In each question i have to see the solution to solve it. Can you suggest some approach to solve algebraic questions?
Algebra has only limited types. As long as you're trying to solve the question, looking at the solution will help you get familiar to all these types. In algebra, two things work - practice and noting types.
