The advantage of an inverter is that we can use the home's appliances when we are camping and are not connected to the fixed electricity network. The inverter converts 12 volts to 230 V. This inverter I install in our motorhome is 300 watts and delivers a clean sine curve and is recommended for sensitive equipment such as a laptop etc.
