- A first person view of the amusement ride called "Fire Ball" at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana 2014. Filmed with a Go Pro camera with a chest harness attachment. Tried to keep my screaming to a minimum, but it was too much fun not to scream!

When I was 12, I went to the fair with a friend. She wanted to ride the Freak Out, altough I was scared! I pretended that I wasn't scared though and acted like I was excited to ride it. When it was our turn to get on the ride I was crying on the inside! However, after I rode it I was no longer scared and now I love the Freak Out! Whenever I see the Freak Out or a ride like it, I ride it!
This is by far my favourite ride ever. But every time I go on it, like 10 seats are tied up because the restraints don’t work, so I always get a little nervous going on it.
I would love to ride this but my body literally can't take it.

Jamal Law, No this specific one may not be in Ohio..although how do we know it's not the same? It does travel after all. I know I will not be going on fair/carnival rides anymore. Lots of accidents last few years. Damn it! I'm gonna miss my tilt-a-whirl.. Buuuut I'd miss my life more.
Jordan Wright if you compare the two, this one and the one at O.S.F, it has the same exact painting on the wall backdrop. Each one has its own paintings even similar rides. Looks just like it to me.
liz dugaro if you can find out whether the fair in Fort Wayne Indiana in 2014 was provided by Amusments of America, then you'll have entirely sound proof. I agree though, its likely the same one.

Notice the floor caves in for space, perhaps that section didn't drop far down enough on top of the rust maybe nicked the floor that's my 2 cents
This thing should be banned, especially after what happened at the Ohio State Fair last week! It's a death trap!

South Carolina banned it, cause the one at Ohio State Fair is the same one from theirs. And the ride had so many problems wrong with it, it shouldn't have been running in the first place.

This ride is called the Freak Out in my fair, my fireball goes upside down in one circle loop, I never go on the freak out because it freaks me out, but different companies made them, so it will still be there, but Indoubt anybody will ride it.

not sure if I should do this cause I would get motion sickness but I know how to get rid of it and it lookss fun but the only place I know that ride is somewhere where I cant get rid of it

If KMG ( the manufacturer of it ) redid the structural metal of the seats & opened most back up, I might would ride it again but now?, definitely not! Not after the Ohio incident, it's still too fresh on my mind.
Rides like these that are in established amusement parks are very safe, though I would never trust one at a fair because they are being taken apart , moved, and put back together multiple times in a year.

At my fair I rode the cyclops three times in a row. This year in a couple of weeks sence I live in cumming,ga they inspect the ride each year and they add new rails and new nails and everything each year. The cyclops is the same thing as this just more safer. This thing I hate

if it was at the same fair maybe it did not break down bc one of the 4 seat places were open and who knows maybe those were the ones that broke down in the other one

I can tell you right now how it broke & what happened! The people on the ride wanted off or someone wasn't strapped in properly & wanted the ride to stop. The ride operator hit the emergency stop & as you can see in this video the seats/cars lift up into position before starting to swing. Hitting the emergency stop made the cars lower before the ride slowed down & those seats hit the barriers on the edge of the platform.

Belle Morte3166s trust me, the emergency bottom is for emergencies, not to cause them! Of course it wasn't that.
