If after having it impounded, they don't acquiesce to the fact that they are wrong in their beliefs, and get the required documents, their vehicle stops being theirs and gets sold at auction. Often their license is suspended or revoked and they can't get it back, or it costs more than the vehicle is worth. Here's the thing though. They still refer to themselves as citizens. They just believe they've found the most convenient loopholes ever to provide all the benefits of citizenship with none of the responsibility. The funniest part is, it's based on a incorrect interpretation and/or outdated law.
"Don't need a license to drive" comes from the Articles of Confederation, which protects the right to travel from state to state or within a state. The problem is, there is absolutely no mention of a vehicle in that protection. "Travelling" means "to move from one place to another" and has no mention of a method of conveyance. That right entails privacy and free domestic movement without governmental abridgement. Considering the most common method of "travel" when the Articles of Confederation were written was by horse, to think motor vehicles are protected is a massive stretch.
Interestingly, the US Constitution supplanted the Articles of Confederation on March 4, 1789, meaning anything based on the Articles of Confederation is no longer applicable. Thinking the Articles of Confederation could possibly have any bearing on current US caselaw would be the equivalent of expecting your jeans to still fit after gaining 50lbs.
When these CovCit Idiots first started popping up, I wanted to understand where they were coming from, so I did quite a bit of research. I found literally every single one of their primary talking points are based upon an incomplete understanding of law/rights, a mistaken interpretation of law/rights, outdated caselaw, supplanted law, or simple lies. To be honest, I completed my research feeling depressed. Otherwise (relatively) intelligent people being gullible enough to fall for this stupidity to the point where they destroy their futures is just *sad!*

Reminds me of that case where a female cop shot the driver of a car and claimed that she thought she was using her Taser. Yes, she was clearly an idiot who had no business wearing a badge, but what the hell was the driver thinking? You're on the side of the road, facing three cops who are trying to arrest you on a felony warrant, and you think the correct move is to shut your door and drive away? Because they're going to go "Welp...I guess he got away."

I can understand this during Covid but not now. and they don't care if your DL's expires from your old state while your waiting for your appointment! I bet it’s auto correct ever since the last couple upgrades it’s been getting worse and changing words on its own even after it’s been corrected. It’s been acting very wonky and it’s especially infuriating when it changes right as you hit the upload button.
It’s real easy to miss it if you’re not looking at the exact word as it changes.
That’s with or without using voice to text. Auto correct has been choosing words that don’t even make sense in context with your talking about. It tends to choose the most common words because it’s an AI program that’s using predictive programming. So it’s going to predict what’s most common and more people use the word mute, then moot.
For example, it just tried to change my word to “moved“ after I used “moot”.
Now, it tried to change it again to loot.

The second one, that banter back and forth, was just ridiculous. It should have been, shut the back door, let her talk to herself, and drive to the station. Oh, by the way, I was in law enforcement for 35 years. Retired now, thank God.

My dad was a highway patrolman.so as he taught me to drive he lectured me on the laws of the road. He also taught me the names of all the counties that surrounded my town. So I grew up and had two daughters and let him teach them to drive because if I had to listen to those lectures so did they. I’m 72 now and have never had had a ticket or be arrested so I guess the lectures did their job, he was a great dad.

He wasn't a good dad, as he lied to you! Did he teach you that automobiles were not vehicles? Did he teach you that vehicles existed 86 years prior to the invention of the automobile? Did he teach you how he was corrupt and applied vehicle statutes against the owners of automobiles? I thought not...
