"Let me call the expert in sleighs..." few moments later Santa is coming in, he's also the director of a museum in Las Vegas. and wears a hat the rest of the year,
What a beautiful sleigh. I would have easily paid his $4500 asking price. Cutter sleighs are rare. That $1000 offer was an absolute insult. I wish the owner would just keep that prized family possession.
The Traveler's Insurance Company calendar that has those pictures of New England in the snow were mostly by the New Haven artist George Henry Durrie. Some of the houses in his paintings still stand in towns surrounding New Haven.
"It's actually santas sleigh, i'd like 1 million dollers." Rick-"well, i'll give you two ice cream cones and a santa clause pin, remember i'm taking a major risk."
Academics believe that a truck or van was used, but the lack of definitive evidence means that it will remain as mysterious as how the Pyramids were built. Alien involvement? Who knows.
said i have a sleigh, they said okay lets wikipedia that real quick so we can sound like know it alls, and we'll get it loaded up in here on tuesday so the film crew can have him memorize some dialogue and voila
Las Vegas is not the place to sell a sleigh. Rick low balled him because he guessed the guy wouldn't want to haul it back out of there. This is one of those things that's only worth what someone wants to pay for it. There really isn't a collector's market out there, not a big one.
I don't quite understand how in the age of internet, why haven't pawn shops gone out of business yet. there are online marketplaces that people can hide behind anonymity to sell their goods if they are afraid of showing their face at pawn shops. and they can get the highest possible price.
couple of problems with that. 1: sometimes people need money right now, don't have time to wait for a sale to go through, shipping etc. 2: there are lots of expensive things too large to ship for the average person. for example, how is this dude gonna mail someone a sleigh? 3: don't forget, pawn shops mainly function as loan locations. you leave your item as collateral on a cash loan, and they generally give WAAAAAY better rates then any payday loan place or the like.
at 2:48 You see the door behind the sleigh.... i sure hope that wasnt the entrance cuz how the f**k did he get it in the store? It sure looks like the entrance also cuz the lettering on the door is on the outside, also saying pawn shop on it so.... I know the show is fake but if you didnt know, this would make people question how real the show is...
There is a back door to the shop. If you actually watch the show, where they have the store room, there is a garage door that opens up, which allows them to store items like this. Again, if you actually watch the show, you will see that they store motorbikes on pawn in the back. How do you think they got in there? Santa and his fucking elves???
Is that the "one horse open sleigh" and where are the "jingle bells" ? However, Rick exaggerates only giving 1.000 $ for this sleigh cause it's worth more ans he could sell it to Johnny who owns a toys shop. DANY (France)
No he's not robbing any one. You have a CHOICE whether to go to a pawn shop or not, and if you do CHOOSE to go to a pawn shop, you can CHOOSE to accept their price or not... There is no requirement for you to go there, or to accept their price. People like you have no idea how business works. Rick has to make money. How many people are going to walk into his shop in Las Vegas, in the middle of summer, and say "Hey guys, do you have a Santa's Sleigh for sale by chance?". I'm astonished that Rick even made an offer on it, let alone offer $1,000 for it.
Santa and mr brown got along famously, he even caught the ball himself!
"They're a business owner, they're cheap"
Hah! You don't say, Rick
Beautiful sleigh! I’d buy it in a heartbeat!
Rick: I'm gonna have to get it framed...
"Let me call the expert in sleighs..." few moments later Santa is coming in, he's also the director of a museum in Las Vegas. and wears a hat the rest of the year,
I thought it was illegal to sell these since Abraham Lincoln freed the sleighs. Learn something new every day.
There was silver war to free the sleighs.
I do
Up top ✋🏻
Roflmao 😂
it's not a black one

Rick: "I'm going to have to buy a horse for it.
2:14. *" if I sell this to a store owner, they're cheap"* 🤙🤣👌🤣

Academics believe that a truck or van was used, but the lack of definitive evidence means that it will remain as mysterious as how the Pyramids were built.
Alien involvement? Who knows.

How did they get that through the door?
The back entrance - obviously.
There's a garage door in the back with chum, Rick, and Corey painted on it
How did he get that in the door
0:13- *insert dad joke*
YA Tittle threw a pass, I caught the ball myself
Dutch word for sleigh is "slee", however pronounced the same as the English word.
He couldn't make $4,000 off of it so he let it slide... No Pun intended. #Crooks
It’s Santa’s sleigh
That is gorgeous 😞
What I wanna know is how did they get that in the door into showroom.. Oh yeah.. It is tv show set. Not an actual store 🤔

I think he could have easily sold it next day for 4k +.. Antique furnitures are crazy. Try to find one like it. You won't.
Jokes on you guys...
My moms boyfriend is Dave.
Mr. Brown and Mr. Santos got along famously.

Its all about convenience, you sell online you might have to wait and you dont know who is at the other end. You go to a pawn shop, cash in hand.
couple of problems with that.
1: sometimes people need money right now, don't have time to wait for a sale to go through, shipping etc.

Fast cash bro. Loans dude.
pawn shops are typically for mega broke people. mega broke people dont have $25 to shill out for credit card monthly fees
Hiway robbery. Nice rick.
I would pay 1000 any day.
Worth at least 5 grand.
Call the show and offer $3500 then.
lol trying to sale something made for snow, in the desert.
That was in someone's living room?!
Mr brown got along famously with the sleigh
I’m gonna report him he stole it from stanta

Deadganon ever heard of a back door?

There's a garage door in the back with a loading dock
This is an insult to the unique cutter sleigh community
