My husband was an electrician. He too could hold live wires. He had to have a nerve conductive test on his arms one time. The doctor was amazed at how much “juice” was being sent through his arms. The machine was maxed out. The doctor could hardly believe the results. It was actually quite funny to watch the reaction of the doctor.

Since both emu's had a running spree, maybe it had something to do with the incoming storm. Animals are sensitive to changes that don't affect us. I hope they find their emu, praying she finds her way home.

My dad was also an industrial electrician in Talladega, AL. He use to laugh at my husband every time they were working at our house in Atlanta and my husband would jump when he would get a little jolt. It was nothing to him. I miss him every day and he has been watching from above for 29 years.

This was most enjoyable. The fact the electric accident wasn’t too serious was a blessing. Not only to have lost power, the tractor was ok, the lives of you both weren’t in eminent danger (so Jason’s Dad said) , the eggs and hatching chicks were safe, Grandmother got her power back quickly,and Nugget took off like he hadn’t in months! Unfortunately, the lost emu was the only sad part in the video. Prayers she is found quickly. 🙏

I got the nickname "Flex Bender" as an electrical apprentice/trainee . I started working with a large electrical contractor .The crews working there liked to give newbies a hard time . They would send me off to look for flexible conduit .I would go looking and find some flexible conduit .I would bring it to them and they would ask for a flexible conduit bender .I was new and didn't know that we had no such tool as a flex bender. I looked around the job site for a while and saw the foreman then asked him for a flex bender . When he heard that he knew what was going on .He got so angry as those guys were wasting time having me run around looking for something that we didn't have .

In the UK we run on 220-240 volts. It'll give you a good old jolt. But Jason's dad is right about it killing you. That's as long as you let go straight away, or fall over :)

My husbands peeled and they told him they had been left somewhere too hot snd that’s why they peeled. He used to leave them on the dashboard when he changed glasses
I just picked my new glasses today and they told me never leave them in a hot car and don't use hot water to clean them. These things will cause the anti-glare coating to break down and become non-functional.
Same thing happens to my son's glasses. Every time we get them from Walmart. Get a clipper and do arlow yourselves. I've always groomed my dogs. Poodles and snoodle. Would be nice if you put in a circle driveway at your new home. Wide enough so that large trucks can navigate around it without tearing up the grass along the edges.

If you take anything out of the oven with glasses on that has a coating on them, the heat from the oven messes them up🙂
