Some plants would look lovely in the bathroom. Also if you're not feeling the floor tiles you can get some really good tile/floor paints - less of an investment/hassle than replacing all the tiles x

Apple trees are gorgeous but they do attract loads of wasps and bees. We have two in my garden and it gets quite bad sometimes so we are thinking about moving the tree. I would suggest putting them at the very back of your garden if you got some. X
Use your hover to get the flys of the ceiling. They will come in at night when lights are on. During the summer evenings I try to just put a lamp on instead of the ceiling lights and keep blinds and curtains closed

I have a citrus tree like that, the oranges are quite bitter but ideal to dry out for Christmas!! Mine was dying inside so put it on the patio after googling it and it now has new leaves, supposed to bring inside in winter. Jamie looks like he's having a great time bless him. Loving the home vlogs. I love the idea of the shelf’s on the wall in the main bathroom, however i think u should change them and get Jamie to make some to match your bath tub rack that he made. It will then tie in with the vanity you eventually want to change too. I personally just think those shelves “ cheapen “ the look your trying to achieve. And then plus… the white shelf colour won’t clash with the white paint on your walls. The decor chosen looks beautiful also x

So excitedbfor a garden transformation im currently doing mine it's going to take a long time though 🤗 you can start planting bulbs in October and they will all pop out in spring to cheer you up after a long grey winter, I'm going to be doing some pot bulb lasagne so they keep flowering all spring with different flowers and come back every year 🪴🌷🌻 would love it if you filmed the garden prep vlogs xxx

It's not the fact it's sunny that I don't like-its the heat. I have hatfever too but it's under control since I regularly take tablets. Regarding the garden. There are some seeds / bulbs like daffodils that need to be u ground over the winter in order to make them grow x Re bugs. You can buy clear netting that's held on by velcro to your windows and keeps bugs and spiders out but you still get air in x

Gemma to keep the cats cool you could either buy some Kool mats (for dogs) they come in different sizes. Look in B&M or Amazon, You can also get pet cool towels that you soak in water then wring out, they are made from a special fabric. When the cat/dog lies on them it cools them down but their fur remains dry. I have special dog coats made out of this fabric that stops my dogs from overheating in the summer. Wouldn't be without them. XX
on the top shelf in the bathroom a print resting on the wall behind the pots would look amazing! especially if it had neutral colours in it, like the pampas grass or cotton plant prints Desenio has :))
I grew up in the country and my father always purchased large outdoor bug zappers and would build a hanging post at the end of our yard and run a cord to it. It would attract and help keep the bugs from our house. I noticed they sell them on Amazon and I'm sure other places. The post he made was like an upside down L shape. Jamie is pretty handy and could do it I'm sure. It worked amazing and is worth the effort. Way better then a silly citronella candle. Just an idea to help maybe. Cheers
Hello. I’m a fan of you from Italy 😊 I think the plant it’s a calamansi, we use them as lemon in the Philippines. But you need to harvest them when they’re still green. An advice if you’re suspecting your house it’s haunted it’s to put salt in every corner of your house or where you think most of the paranormal activity happens.

It is called a loofa & theyre really good for rubbing off dead skin in the shower once you soften the loofa up & its good for circulation boosting when doing upward strokes towards your heart. Just a bit of trivia for you
Gemma a tip for the midgies! Wipe down your windows with white vinegar spray and they don’t come in! And also leave a little cup or jar with apple cider vinegar and afew drops of washing up liquid covered in cling film with little pin prick holes in near the windows! That works a treat! Xxx

You have a lovely house Gemma and Re: bathroom styling , I know someone who was seriously hurt when a glass container fell in the bath ....please place it on your bathroom vanity or one of the shelves. Like the idea of wooden shelves...maybe when you change your vanity/sink unit, would be pretty with your black accents Have you tried placing the baskets sideways on each shelf ?ex: glass container and candle beside basket placed sideways on one shelf, matches in glass jar and greige container with basket again on the top shelf. I agree with you about the tiles on floor and the black/grey above sink which have cool undertones compared to the warm tone of the shower enclosure .Take away tiles above sink and replace with bigger mirror with storage.
A great way to get rid of flies: Try using old jars and fill them like 1/4 with apple cider vinegar, cling-film them and poke holes through the film, leave the jars by the windows. I never thought it would work but oh my goodness, it's a miracle worker! X
I think a large vase with pampas like the one in your bedroom would look lovely in the right hand corner sort it at the back of the bath would look so beautiful 😍

I really like the bathroom tiles and think it will look better than the white tiles which may make the bathroom look too plain. Leave it for a while and see. Jamie's craftmenship is fantastic!! It's so lovely how he does things to make you happy ❤
The little glass jar on your bath board would look amazing with some bath salts in and then a little wooden scoop for them to tie in all the natural themes! xx

It's not the fact it's sunny that I don't like-its the heat. I have hatfever too but it's under control since I regularly take tablets. Loratadin one's are the only ones that work for me, so try them as it helps Gemma. And lol at your story about the footprint! That was the 1st thing I thought where my over active imagination goes-& you literally said what I was thinking about it being haunted hehehe love it. I'm sure it's nothing. Regarding the garden. There are some seeds / bulbs like daffodils that need to be u ground over the winter in order to make them grow x
Re bugs. You can buy clear netting that's held on by velcro to your windows and keeps bugs and spiders out but you still get air in x

Gemma to keep the cats cool you could either buy some Kool mats (for dogs) they come in different sizes. Look in B&M or Amazon, You can also get pet cool towels that you soak in water then wring out, they are made from a special fabric. When the cat/dog lies on them it cools them down but their fur remains dry. I have special dog coats made out of this fabric that stops my dogs from overheating in the summer. Wouldn't be without them. XX
on the top shelf in the bathroom a print resting on the wall behind the pots would look amazing! especially if it had neutral colours in it, like the pampas grass or cotton plant prints Desenio has :))
I grew up in the country and my father always purchased large outdoor bug zappers and would build a hanging post at the end of our yard and run a cord to it. It would attract and help keep the bugs from our house. I noticed they sell them on Amazon and I'm sure other places. The post he made was like an upside down L shape. Jamie is pretty handy and could do it I'm sure. It worked amazing and is worth the effort. Way better then a silly citronella candle. Just an idea to help maybe. Cheers

Gemma put less reeds in your reed diffuser it works better with less, as then the air can flow between them so you will be able to smell it more. Love your home, your videos and what you get up to x
I agree with you on the bathroom renovation/changes on 100%. These tiles that are currently in are really a bit too busy for the bathroom and I see where you are going with your ideas. That under the sink cupboard will look so much better in the bathroom, and paired with light coloured tiles.. It is called a loofa & theyre really good for rubbing off dead skin in the shower once you soften the loofa up & its good for circulation boosting when doing upward strokes towards your heart. Just a bit of trivia for you

Gemma a tip for the midgies! Wipe down your windows with white vinegar spray and they don’t come in! And also leave a little cup or jar with apple cider vinegar and afew drops of washing up liquid covered in cling film with little pin prick holes in near the windows! That works a treat! Xxx

Like the idea of wooden shelves...maybe when you change your vanity/sink unit, would be pretty with your black accents
Have you tried placing the baskets sideways on each shelf ?ex: glass container and candle beside basket placed sideways on one shelf, matches in glass jar and greige container with basket again on the top shelf.
I agree with you about the tiles on floor and the black/grey above sink which have cool undertones compared to the warm tone of the shower enclosure .Take away tiles above sink and replace with bigger mirror with storage.

A great way to get rid of flies: Try using old jars and fill them like 1/4 with apple cider vinegar, cling-film them and poke holes through the film, leave the jars by the windows. I never thought it would work but oh my goodness, it's a miracle worker! X
