I just got them. I wish the instructions on using the app were more clear. Like how to create memories, what is the equalizer for and what scenarios do I use it. It’s a lot of tech and I’m pretty young. My father in law who is 80 has them and has given up because he struggles to understand all the adjustments. Wish there were tutorials on how to best navigate the app and get the most out of the hearing aids.
My husband just purchased the 1200 evolv I feel it's the wrong choice because that's what they offered him with our medical we are willing to pay a couple thousand above that price out of pocket, my husband has severe hearing loss due to tinnitus caused by chemotherapy in 2014, I believe the 1600 would have been better what do you think
Thanks for the breakdown. So I'm thinking these are the best and smallest in the ear that works w/ bluetooth and adjusted through sw settings to control the hearing, as well as rechargeable. Don't see anything close to this yet so looks like I'm interested in a quote. ;o) Had Eargo garbage that was replaced and still broke shortly after warranty and again w/in 2 yrs... Just picked up Ceretone ITE but thought it had SW to control the sound. It just links to your phone which is nice, but not what I was hoping for... and they are quite large and falling out of my left ear... Going to return and prepare for the big spend...
I was thinking what you were...but turns out, the wireless CICs are not as small as most people would hope, and the pull string (that fishing string looking thing), which doubles as the antenna, sticks out. Maybe give me a call at 800-731-6794 and we can talk through some options/prices and consider everything on the market.
I have the most recent SoundLens 2400 IIC and my main complaint is that the T2 remote (for changing volume and memory) works off of phone number tones. For me it's just too awkward. I think I read somewhere than with this new model, there's a physical button on the battery door for changing volume and memory. Do you know if that's true? Without that, I don't see much reason to switch to Evolv from what I have, but with it, I'd probably get this new version. Thanks.

I just got my Evolve AI hearing aids from the VA, and I love them. Easy to use, clean, recharge, and use. The performance is incredible.
