I love Beastie Bands collars. They have lots of designs & no ‘buckle’ that mats up neck fur. Congrats! He’s a lovely boy! I guess you’ll have to kitty proof a few things. What a treat to watch a new baby, thank you!

Yeah based on your video I think you need to kittie proof your home. There are a lot of hanging wires which he could lead to him pulling down something heavy on himself. Take care!

@@francescatherine9359I have 3 Rescue Kitties. One that is BLACK named GOOFY. A Grey Tabby named Ziggy and a Calico named TOKSY. Toksy is 13, Goofy is 11 & Ziggy is 8
94th! I’ve got TWO MAINE COON KITTENS. One of the male kittens is named WEIRDO, and 5he other male is named BABY HUEY. They love to wrestle each other and go for walks. I’m leash training them so they can go everywhere with me. Best of luck with your APPOLO. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA

You never need to worry about a cat learning his name. Keep calling him by it, and he'll realize in a few days. But cats will ignore you when they want to do their own thing. It's not that he hasn't learned. He's just showing you his independent nature as a cat. If he came every time you called, he'd worry you thought he was a dog. 😀

YOU DON'T NEED TO TEACH HIM HIS NAME, JUST KEEP CALLING HIM BY HIS NAME AND HE WILL AUTOMATICALLY LEARN IT.
Yes, I have a stray cat, And I changed His name twice, And he learned them so quickly he comes when I call him by The last name I called him.
You don't have to write in capital letters, she reads it that way without you doing it

I know this is over a year ago but my childhood cat always had a bell on her collar because she didn’t meow so we’d know where she was… took her to the vets every year and her hearing was good, she was a healthy lovely kitty xx
Thank you so much! We've actually decided to make him an indoor cat, so he doesn't have a collar anyway. And he's very vocal so we don't ever struggle to find him in the house haha! xx

We have a black MC asleep in the back porch. We have had many cats over the years but we got him from the SPCA and had been returned twice. He was kind of messed up by all he drama and was really shy but it didnt take long for him to come out of his shell. He is the sweetest and smartest cat we have ever had and such a handsome boy. And we no longer have a mouse problem......

He’s so purrrecious =^..^=. They are the largest domestic cat breed with rag doll’s being second largest. I have a solid black rag doll with a silver undercoat and he’s slowly darkening up and getting blacker and blacker. His name is Zebedee.

Our boy was the same, wasn't a ball of fluff like other mc kittens but now he certainly is..not long fur but literally a large ball of fluff, your boy should be the same eventually, they want to play all the time when they're kitties but our boy now has calmed down now..plays for 30mins and sleeps for 6hrs lol
I'm here because I'm a new cat owner my self. My mom's friend currently very ill she giving away her cats and kittens for free to people she choose. I'm watching all maine coon related videos on UA-cam. My maine coon kitten is 3 weeks old and look like a big fat caterpillar. Very fluffy and thick fur.
3 weeks old? poor thing will need a lot of love, affectionation, even bottle fed etc.Recommend age is at least 8 weeks, maincoon 12 weeks....no doubt missing his mama🙏💛....
@Cat Lover yeah the cat owner had cancer and her condition worsening she been hospitalised for the sake of her cats she need to let all of them go.
We have a black kitten called Albas and he will be four months old on the 11th of July also we have another black cat called Luna and she is a black Siamese and both of them are sooo adorable. We have had other cats but they are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge bless them. My wife and I just could not exist with at least two cats in our home. Yes, we are both cat mad and we just don't care. Luna is a year older than Albas and she is teaching him lots of cat stuff both eat sleep and play together and they go nuts when I get the laser pen out and play with them. keep up with the vlogs.Take care all of you. I noticed on my 4 week old Maine coon kittens, their underbelly is getting fluffy or first sign of the mane they know for. Thought they were getting fat but I'm assuming the underbelly is where their mane or hair first starts growing. They jus still a bit small thou.
Apollo is so cute. He looks like my Lightfoot without the white (tux ASH). Have you had any problems with him chewing oncords? I found that hot sauce applied to the cords is a good deterrent. Hope to see more of this beautiful boy.
They take about 4yrs to mature so there will be changes to say the least.

clicker traine him. its easy and you can traine a cat like a dog.
I used treats for mine, but this was before I knew about clickers. One cat liked leash walking; the other was too scared to venture outside. Probably because he was picked up on a very busy road by my customer's son and never recovered from the trauma of almost getting run over. But they both learned "come," "sit," "up" and "speak." Also the word "cookie."

Learn how to trim his nails when he's still a kitten. I found with my cat, the best way was to wrap him in a towel and pull out one paw at a time and only remove the clear, barbed tip. You can also get him used to walking on a leash and teach him a few tricks.
Now he’s older he actually really enjoys paw massages and sticks his feet up in the air for us to cut his nails 😂
cats prefer heat I've read 86-97 degrees check it out 😉

Please do not let him out, without a leash. Kitties aren’t meant to be outside critters, there are too many bad things that can happen!!
Depends where you live
Why not build a catio, then they go outside but only in a catio, that way they can be outside & not worry about anything, wish you would watch Robert & see how his Cats love their catio
Get another kitten pls. Cats are not meant for solitary cats. He needs a companion or he will get behaviour issues. I have 2 SFC and 1 MC, believe me there is nothing more fun then watching them play.
My cat doesn't like any company other than me and my dad.
Don't let him go out. It's too dangerous for cats to roam outside. Build a catio for him. You can trim his nails if they are too sharp
Don't put a collar on him. Can't imagine boy Kevin with a collar on. Took his baby one off as soon as he got home

Disagree with you. My cat is the only one in my house and is just fine. No behavior problems or issues. He doesn't doesn't need a companion, in fact he doesn't get along with other cat's.
sweet. But better adopt from a shelter, this stimulates peopel to breed animals and shelters are so overcrowded.
Please adopt, not buy from a breeder-if you care about animals.
