Yes I know it’s a cheap hotel but I agree for what a bottle of water costs it would have been a nice touch to have some basics. Generally people would probably leave a nice tip as a result of it.
Greece is very basic unless 4 star and you might get water and coffee/ tea but you might pay for it. 2 star is very basic and you are lucky to have a pool tbh I’m going 3 star and I’ll not have water and tea coffee in the room, you’re lucky to have shampoo and shower gel tbh ha that’s why I arrive on an early flight so I can go to a shop or restaurant/ cafe when I get there :) I hope you enjoyed it I’m heading there next September, I’ve stayed 2 star with no pool before in a studio apartment it was just somewhere to wash and sleep because I was out a lot I think you’d be better 4 star plus
Hi , thanks for your comment, it is really appreciated. I know it comes across as a bit of a moan but all in all we did had a great time in Kos . To be honest never done 4 stars or above, we try and keep it as budget friendly as possible 😉. The location was fantastic and the staff were wonderful.
