And no worries, Tay. I have bad eyesight and BIG TIME anxiety issues that I'm medicated for. Not only do I not drive, in a realistic sense I _shouldn't_ drive lol. I used to be really sensitive about it, but now I've mostly come around to the whole idea of, "I'd be very, _very_ dangerous on the road. I'd rather not endanger anybody else." It's just crazy how many other people tried to pressure me into driving a giant wheeled deathmachine anyway, fully knowing that I'm behind the wheel and that I see shit that isn't there when I panic o.o
Peer pressure is weird no matter where it's coming from or where it's directed lol. Public transport for me all the way!

The problem I have with the game of life is that there are choices you pretty much need to make to have a chance at winning. You need collage and need to upgrade your job later on or you will be super far behind. They gotta make collage cost more and give you loans or something to balance things out.
it actually is a really easy fix in my opinion, every 100k$ is 20 points if you finish with 2,000k that would be like 400 points, then 20 points per heart, hat, or piggybank, and 400 from crowns, at least from the videos I have seen on this game it literally just matters about money, and having a good job and rolling for money gets more points. The problem is further made evident that 3 categories all usually cost money like 100k for a party that means you are giving up 100 points for 40 points I think so unless you get the crown bonus that choice is essentially -60 points
not really saying it has to be 100k = 20 pts could be other amounts

Don't go risky if you have a high paying, high tax job. The only thing worth getting from fate would be a house in which the odds of landing on one are minimal. It's better to go the safe route, pick up another big ass salary, along with a couple more actions, with no chance of getting taxed.

Quite a shame that they didn't take ideas from the Hasbro's family game night 3's version of the game of life that came out over 12 years ago. That was much more videogame like than this.

Chilled, seeing as how much you enjoy this and Mario Party, you really need to try Billion Road sometime if you haven't already. It is basically anime Monopoly but there are huge swings in the game and some level of game balancing. Also you can start a game that is insanely long if you ever want to do a 24 hour stream of madness.
Try it sometime, you'll have a ton of fun!

One missed opportunity i think the Game of Life could have had is different game modes with themes on different eras
In the sequel there are actually different themes. It goes from Antartica, to the moon, to a day at the beach to the prehistoric time.
Each theme got different cars and jobs based on the theme.
Different eras eh? 1800s edition would have you dying from diseases and fording rivers. Just constant spinning for survival.

Man. I'm thinking about this game way too deep. I immediately went into a tailspin of how the game tries to get you to volunteer for charity, not because its the right thing to do, but that it will increase your happiness points, allowing you to win the game as long as you're also loaded with all sorts of other material goods.
Meaning you're not really volunteering for the right reasons, to help others in need, but instead for your own benefit in the grand scheme of things.
And now I'm sad about how this is likely a reality, as the people who probably have the biggest impacts on donations are the billionaires who just need a simple tax write-off. Where they could easily be doing more for the rest of us, but it would be at the expense of their own obnoxiously large happiness score at the end of their very fortunate lives.
This not high and/or rageing tay seams unatural :P.
