Stein was a brilliant talent who added immeasurably to the B films of Roger Corman et al. The opening music for The Last Woman on Earth is thrilling.

How old is this documentary? And for what format it was originally made (for TV, etc.)? I wonder because I got interested in the story behind the main theme of the original Dune. People left comments there (under the latter score on youtube) referring to Ronald Stein's work. Listeners mentioned many other movie or video game soundtracks that have this 'The Haunted Palace' motive featured, too (I counted a dozen!). So in that regard - Ronald'a work still lives! I've been looking for further classical influences that could have inspired Ronald ever since. Good to hear his originals will be saved, stored and restored for the future generations!
