I've reached the top back in October 2021, that was amazing 👏
So glad you got to meet Big T. He’s a great guy! He called you the “famous You-tube hiker”. He’s right about that. 😂
As an individual that's born and raised in New Hampshire. It makes me very happy you are our representative.
I didn’t know you could expand the Mountain Weather forecast to see a better hour by hour until now. Thanks Taylor!
So good to see you smiling again! You can do this Taylor! Every morning I look forward to seeing your videos! Thank you for taking us along with you!
Good to have hikers close by. 🎉100 glad you're carrying on 😊
Back home in our neck of the woods. Stayed at the Notch last month! Super hostel!
Looks like a great day, other than the headache. Thank for bringing us with you!
I love how you are so positive and pleasant nearly all the time. Even with a headache! You are a joy to follow!
And so sensible, not racing or pushing although she is still covering huge miles each day. Listening to her body and responding accordingly. In contrast I have just watched a through hiker push themselves all the way to Katahdin with injuries, little rest, and hiking 25 miles a day.
Glad to see you back in the Whites. I do have to say, though, if you would like to sound like a native the locals pronounce it Mt. " Moose-a- lock." Sorry, just a little pet peeve. Good luck with the adventure to Mt. Katadin.
I agree totally! It gets under my skin each time.
Whoohoo! At minute 10:11 I would have taken a dip in that! There's nothing like the cold, clear mountain streams of NH.
I love seeing you climb MT Moosilauke. Climbed it many times when I was a young boy. My uncle would drop me and my cousin on one side and meet us on the other. Usually the Benten trail. Then we fish camp for the weekend.
Congrats..Day 100. Great video today. Thanks, Taylor.
I had to pause to cheer. I am so happy you met Frizzle from Chasing Blazes!
Congratulations to day 100! You are doing an amazing job!
I think everyone that does the AT deserved two Day 100s. Congratulations Taylor!!! If Katahdin has a smell, you should be smeill'n it! Keep roll'n the miles Taylor.
Well, she did say she was smelling like a hiker today, so maybe that was covering up the smell of Katahdin? 😆😆😆😆
@@HD4lyfe I’ve had those hikes. When I get bothered by my own smell its time to hit a hotel.
@@bmwman63 It happens lol.
Mt. Moosilauke is a crazy climb, glad the weather was good for you!
Congratulations on day 100! You’ve inspired me to start doing trail magic for fellow thru hikers on the AT. I didn’t realize how close to the trail I was in Dalton, MA. Love your videos and keep up the awesome content ❤
Congratulations on Day #100🎉❤🎉!Stay safe!
So glad you took the few days off to get what you needed to continue...I was in laconia the same day as you i wished I knew would of loved to meet you..I will be definitely going to your store ..good luck in the whites a lot of floods river crossings were tough ..just continue at your own pace you got this !
Hey Taylor...glad to see you're back in the Whites!
Was able to hike around the 1200 mark today was a good time. Did 6.5 miles today and I keep dreaming of thru hiking like you Taylor keep up the awesome work
I love Moosilauke!. I think I've done it more than any other mountain in NH.
Quite the climb. I was thinking the water crossing would feel good on the feet. There is so much beauty all around. It is great you enjoy it all and are just doing you and what you are comfortable with. Happy hiking.
Love Moosilaukee, did it as a sunrise hike a few years ago and the views were absolutemy stunning.
Hope the headache went away for you!
You look better, and sound positive . . . 'The Moose' is a hump and a half! and that down! Welcome to The Whites, Nahamsha!😊 This was a very good section for you. Don't push, you don't need to. I never rushed thru NH & ME. Too beautiful! And too hard . . . Like you, shining star, Nam'sha. 🌟👉Katahdin⛰️
It is getting more exciting as you get closer to the end. Good luck!
The waterfalls there are lovely. Better going up than down that side. Slackpack it one time.
Planning on hiking this in 2 weeks. Hope the weather is good.
Congratulations Taylor. Hiker headache is REAL!
Next to Acadia National Part, the Whites are my favorite area of New England. Looking forward to seeing you summit Katahdin. Safe travels.
AMAZING tough terrain. Recover well.👍👍👍
Ha‼️Congratulations on the real💯‼️That's some beautiful country, Thanks for taking the time and effort!
What a fantastic day 100 entering the whites! Some moments are just too good to film and share. 😊
Way to go, Taylor! Keep crushing it.
I so look forward to your daily vlogs! Thank you for all your efforts! I’m already sad that your vlogs will end once you reach Katahdin! But, hopefully, you’ll be hiking a trail again!!
Great progress!
Congratulations on your making over a 4000 footer. Sorry your head is hurting.
I like the ring of 100 Days .. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad you beat the rain! Enjoy the hostel!
Day 100!!! Awesome hike Taylor 💙 Glad you are surrounded by hikers
Congratulations Taylor on day 100! 🎊🥾⛰️🩷I was planning to hike Mount Moosilauke today but the weather didn’t cooperate. We had a thunderstorm last night. Have a great day! 🥾⛰️
Congrats on 100 days!
I had a huge thunderstorm come so close to Moosilauke while I was on the summit a couple of years ago and what a wild sight it was. Near miss for sure😅
Oh, I met Cup a Tea in VA! So nice to hear an update.
I've been leapfrogging with her since MA!
You are doing great taylor. 👣🌻
Finally caught up on videos! Fun watching you today. I also hiked around bearded frog for a bit in GA! I love when people I follow/know meet up! So fun 😊
Awesome !!!! You go girl
Have enjoyed watching all three of your AT thru- hike attempts, thanks for the strong work. I plan to start a SoBo attempt very soon; Would you ever consider doing a Sobo AT attempt? I would love to see what you think about the different experiences between Nono and Sobo. Thanks.
Good video with lots of good views, some nice water falls 😅, so let's keep on hiking 😊
😊 I'm so happy you got good weather atop Mousilauke! The hammock looked so comfy! Great job today, Nahamsha. Rest well at The Notch ✌️
Good morning from Lexington ky love white mountains
Glad to see you are on ‘home turf’ in the Whites!! 😀 Moosilauke is on my bucket list and hope to check it off next month when I vacation up there. 😃 Keep on keeping’ on, Taylor! 🥾🤎
I was planning doing Moosilauke with my son that day but the forecast kept us in MA. Did it a couple days later and curious if we would run across you.
Happy hiking today
Moosilauke is tough, no matter how you slice it - nice going. Thanks for the video on day 100. Or is that 99? Or 101? Hope that headache gets lost. Be well, stay safe.
What a beautiful hike today! 🌿💦Question: I thought you bought a bug net for your head? Why didn't you crack that out? Just curious! 🪰
You did a good day’s work! Sorry you had to deal with a headache. They can certainly be aggravating. Take care of yourself. No injuries please 😊.
👍
Serious question: How do you know when shuttles are going from where and what time? Trying to plan and understand where this info is learnt while on-trail or before.
Taylah, those linahs have seen bettah days!
Taylor, nice to see you back out again. I loved see the krumholtz as you approached the summit. Moose almost killed me twice with late Spring snowstorms but I finally did a September hike and made the summit. You're doing great!!! Keep going as there are BILLIONS of us cheering you on. Be safe. God bless.
Those headaches may be from dehydration. You probably need to drink a lot more than you have been. Good to see progress, though.
We live in the Whites. More ticks than usual this year.
How’s your water and salt intake? This may cause headache
That mountain forecast website is always wrong lol
If I was Tyler’s hiking partner I’d carry her pack the whole AT
Mount Moosilauke looks hard to me. I’m wondering how people pick that as their first 4k footer.
First from Florida!
I'm a solo hiker. One of my pet peeves is other hikers on the trail who are loud, as they scare away wildlife, & destroy the peace of nature. The other hikers in this video triggered me! Lol
Did you offer to autograph the Hikeopoly game?
What are you saying at 3:56. Tremley? Tramley? I've tried to google it and have heard you say it before. Please explain! thanks :)
It's tramily, short for trail family.
@@michelle_ajema thank you!!!
@@anneconover1925For some reason I'm just seeing this now, don't know what's up with the notifs. You're welcome. 😅😅
🦋
lahouts will have them
They close before the shuttle from the notch goes into town :(
That was my first 4000 footer.
I’ve lived in NH my whole life and never heard the mountain pronounced with an E at the end.
Yeah it's supposed to be pronounced like Moose-a-lock.
@@spirogyra no shit. So I figured she’d pronounce it correctly
@@spirogyra Taylor grew up in Mass and didn't move to NH until she was 20. The 1/3 you hear pronouncing it with the hard "e" at the end are probably transplants, the same people who can't pronounce Kancamagus and Chocorua correctly either.
Some people need better hobbies than criticizing how people pronounce things on the internet lol
@@TaylortheNahamshaHiker the irony of someone who pronounces Nahamsha correctly saying this to other people. 😜
Why does everyone put a long "e" at the end of Moosilauke? I live and hike in New Hampshire and have always pronounced it with a silent "e" at the end. How do other viewers pronounce it?
Drop the sugar and the high carb diet and you will not be so out of breath, you consume a lot of junk food it seems. I am doing keto and it makes a huge difference to get rid of the sugars and stick to proteins and dump the empty carbs, you just mentioned the ice cream at this point, enough said. You do you but you could do it a lot easier and have a lighter pack with the other foods.
Good for you. 🎉
the headaches come from the sugar buzz and then the drop from that high, I know because it gives me migraines. making better choices will take care of that. been a hiker for 45 years and just getting back to it again after a hiatus.
Just because that is the case for you, it doesn't have to be like that for everyone. Also, keto is a very special diat and definitely not recommended for everyone. So you do you and let others hike their own hike ;)
@@maika0395Very true! We are all different, and our bodies react differently to different foods. Nobody is the same not even close…
Words of wisdom right here, I used to get migraines all the time when I was eating like Taylor. I started eating keto in 2015 and dramatically reduced my migraines. Then over a year ago I switched to zero carb (carnivore) and haven't had a migraine since. My hiking performance increased dramatically as well since getting rid of carbs. I can do big mile hikes in the Whites with lots of elevation gain while fasted and never lose energy. I can't recommend keto or carnivore enough for hikers.
ARE YOU HIKING WITH SOMEONE OR ARE YOU HIKING MOST OF THE AT ALONE.
Sounds like you need to catch up on all of her videos!!!😂
come to turkey
Could be gabapentin for migraines and very popular. Then again a brain tumor. TS19
Hope you're feeling better..... we're with you everyday just remember you're never alone... even though I doubt it hopefully I can have the same following whenever I go through the trail in a couple of months... it'd be nice to have the kind of support you do cuz I know it gets lonely out there...😊
Good morning couch potatoes
