- Moog's Matriarch and Grandmother synthesizers are built with an eye equally on the brand's legacy and the future. In our new video, we're using both synths to create classic Moog tones and out-of-this-world sounds, while showing off the unique feature set of both: bit.ly/MoogSynthsVK

Matriarch is my all-time fave synth. A great tip for anyone who has one: take a slow moving triangle wave LFO into an attenuator, then take the attenuator out into "time 1 in". This way you get a detuned and warbly tape delay style sound. If you use this delay tip with some paraphonic chords you will be in Moog Heaven!
Would love for you all to share the patch sheets or pictures of the sounds. Tough to see all your settings.
Moog is beast, thank you man. Love the way you can really play with each sound for long durations and the fact that you can patch things into it
Dammit, I knew I shouldn't have looked up any Matriarch videos after I fell in love with the Grandmother. I originally wanted a Sirin but now they cost a bit more than the Grandmother; now I want a synth that's doubly outside my price range! Lmao
Some of the patches (well actually… all of them) are fantastic. Please share them with us
Don't be stingy on them patches homie ante up!
Got them both. They allways makes me smile. Both Synths sounds amazing.
hey you should share the patches for the sounds
That guitar patch is so good! Matriarch is worth it just as a pedal board lmao
I've got mine on order - can't wait to get it.
Wow, that's great! Thanks!
I hear The Camera Eye in that Brass patch
Futuristic sounds very interesting, thank you for it!
that last one literally sounds like alien communication
Man that soft pad is unreal! Are these settings/patch sheets available anywhere to replicate?
Thanks so much for this, this has been the deciding factor for me on buying it, those soft synths were just heavenly! Any tips on getting that sound would be so appreciated! Thank you
great demo
There's a little bit of Rush's Camera Eye in the brass sounds of the M.
Please share the patches
Hey, are all the sounds from GrandMother possible to do with Matriarch ? thanks
3:13 Love hearing that Oberheim sound coming out of a Matriarch. It's my favorite synth in my arsenal, and I didn't think it would be when I bought it because it's not the most expensive. But I lose hours in it.
Moog is so hippie sounding to me. I always picture meadows and sunshine
they both sound pretty common, but cool (?)
Dat 70s horror soundtrack tho....
when he took out the guitar...... oh lord
whats the melody at 3:06, thats a famous funk song?
