There are DVD size shipping boxes avaialble in lots of 100 on eBay. On some you need to cut the inside flaps to make it not bulge too much. For the expensive stuff you are better off using that, they should also fit inside the tracked envelopes. Damages will eventually catch up if you are only using paper envelopes. And it is better for the customer if they get a boxed game vs just a plain envelope (most game collectors hate having their stuff shipped without protection). And don't write on the envelope if you have a game in there, it can indent into the case.
Thank you sir. I used to sell games on eBay a few years back but I was feeling rusty about it. I’m glad to see not much has change. I used to bubble wrap at my expense but will no longer do since you seem to be doing more sales than I did and have no gotten into issues regarding un-padded envelope packages. I appreciate your video.
That first game at best is in "Good" condition. If you walk into any mom and pop video game shop, an item like that will NOT be sold to you anything above "Acceptable" even if the disc and manual are in pristine condition unless you are selling the disc and manual only, then it will be sold as very good.
international sending would be 20€ for me domestic 9€ with track and trace (in Belgium), what would you advise games that not in english (dutch) only sell domestic ? or international to ?
I don't really flip games because I'm too much of a collector myself, though I will sell games that are either really rare or are in sealed condition, because I can't have sealed items lying around without the temptation of opening them. Thanks for the video, I'm very unfamiliar with Ebay so this was very helpful! ❤❤❤😊😊😊❤
@@TheAussieFlipper Thank you! I actually had one question. The max thickness for an envelope is 20mm with my carrier. A ds game cuts is close at 15mm. An upgrade to a package is about $20 more. Do you have any advice for this? Am I safe to use an envelope without bubble wrap, or is there bubble wrap thin enough to fit the 20mm requirement?
Thanks for showing us how to do this, i have a local pawn shop close by that sells video games for 5 bucks each, so im gonna pick up in bulk one day after a really good pay & start trying this reselling technique out. Cheers aussie from canada ❤
I gotta say that was one of the most informative videos that I’ve watched and enjoyed . It really made me feel like I could start selling confidently. Video games at least 😂😂😂😂
Whats the method you use to clean these discs? Obviously a lot of these you'll find at garage sales will have tons of finger prints and scratches. I've always played on PC so everything is digital for me, never really had to clean discs before.
I am a newbie on ebay. I like to start selling video games.. But I was reminded that there are restrictions on selling of video games on ebay as far as VERO is concern. Any advice on what I should not do to avoid suspension of my account?
@TheAussieFlipper I thought about selling most of my collection, debating if I should sell on ebay or private seller. I would think I would make more with ebay.
Because as far as video game resell market goes, that is not "very good" it's acceptable. No video game mom and pop shop will sell you that as anything more than "acceptable" even if the disc is inpristine condition.
@grizzlybearking1878 wow really? Huh. Never knew that. I usually put in my descriptions that a disc is like new, but the case has some wear (or something along those lines) so I'd list it as very good as well.
@Nateosaurus Thing is if you were selling just a disc and it's that clean and scratch free, then yes, it's in very good condition. The collecting market can be very particular. If you were selling the whole package, then I would list no higher than good. If a collector buys that game, expect a 1star for description. If it's someone buying just to play, they prob don't care as long as it works. Ebay says 80% of buyers read descriptions, so you might as well list something like that as "Good" and then describe how clean the disc and manual are. "Very good" is used way to loose on ebay to describe games imo
I’d argue the condition estimate is valued differently by everyone. What matters most is the set of photos depicting the condition. That will always tell the true story. Not a condition interpretation
I'm selling a digital item, how do I make that work since ebay forces u to use a shipping company, I need a worldwide shipping option that's free but it refuses to work. Since I'm not shipping anything, its all online
Great informative video Matt! Still waiting for a video about returns etc! Need some help! A customer received a brand new sealed DVD, has opened it and some of the plastic stuck to the spine. They messaged me saying its "defective. Spine melted" What would you do??

only a store subscription fee - think it's $25 a month. If you're a casual seller there is a small insertion fee as well if you choose to not have a store subscription
@@monsterstorm78 you can price it whatever you want, but if other people have listings of the same product as you for less people that are looking to buy won't choose your listing to save money
I learned recently that when someone clicks a promoted listings and doesn't buy it. Even if they come back 29 days later organically and bought any item it counts as a promoted sale and uses that first items promotion rate into the sale.
I dont think it works fine for me. I sold a game for 35$ incl sending. After transaction costs and ad costs there remains 22.50$. Then i have to pay shipping that costs me 15$. So i make 7.50$ Now i sold a game for 50$ incl sending. After the costs for ads and transaction there remains 28$. Then i pay sending costs also 15$. So ther is 13$ remaining. So thats only 4.50$ more profit then the other game. While i sold it for much more money
Who's going to flip a ton of video games this year!
That's the plan! 😊
If I can find any at a good price.
Just had 440 Japanese PlayStation games delivered 😊. Time to get to work!
Not me! But I do have some awesome facts about video games!
I hope so. Winning tons of auctions

Don’t know what you’re talking about it’s in “really really good condition”
Definitely should have been "good" at best
I'd say very good is a stretch, the blemish on the case is significant. Proper listing is good.
WOW!! Excellente !!!! You did an outstanding job!!! Kept my interest thru the whole orientation!! Thanks for Sharing!!! 👍🤗🤗❤️🔥
Will be putting this to use, just picked up 1 ps3 slim, 2 xbox 360's 2 wii's + accessorys and about 35 games for $130 from marketplace

Would I be able to make traction selling PlayStation 4 games only? Or does it have to be older vintage games such as PlayStation 2 ?
Once you've put the item in that envelope, do you take it too Aus post and give to them, or can you just put it in one of their boxes around town?
Pre paid so it can go in a post box

Where are you sending to /from
What strategy do you use for disc only
I tend to not bother
More info on selling games! Ur my favorite flipper on yt 💯
Hayyy! That means the world! I appreciate you
I really wanna get into this quick question where do you get the games from that you sell?
Flea market, garage sales, thrift stores, facebook marketplace, friends and family, the tip shop. So many places man
how do the games never break if i packed like that in the UK they would arrive broken
Have you tried?

hiya mate, what kind of profit are you seeing on that? I'm really curious on the ceiling of this and if its truly worthwhile
Eprofit calculator is what I use to determine true net profit. Works out everything after fees
Do you have any dramas with refunds for damaged goods or not received?
1% of my sales end up as refunds I’d say another 1% due to items not received
How much are the Aust Post Satchels?
Depending on location $8.50-$10.50 for a small satchel
