- A beginning to end playthrough of Viacom New Media's 1993 PC FMV adventure, Dracula Unleashed.
It certainly got the majority of its exposure from its Sega CD release, but the Dos version of one of Icom's forays into interactive movies is the far superior version, running with 256 color movies.
Dracula Unleashed is a really cool take on Dracula that doesn't directly plagiarize Stoker, and a pretty awesome game in general.
No cheats were used during the recording of this video.

This game was amazing. I played it on DOS when it first came out and there were no cheat guides or tutorials. I figured out the game by myself and I remember when I finally reached the end and defeated Dracula it was friggin amazing. Just listening to the vocals of the characters brings back memories once forgotten, amazing game.
Nightwolf1972 I agree.
For an FMV game from the early 90's I thought the acting was very good.
I wish they would remaster the footage in HD and re-release this game on current platforms.
@@nessadvantage9447 There's a DVD version
@@thecoyotespeaks9649 true,but it's extremely rare.
I've been searching for awhile now,and haven't had any luck finding it.
@@nessadvantage9447 I've got the ISO here, think it's abandonware now so ok to own a copy. I could find a way to get it to you?
@@thecoyotespeaks9649 right on,that's cool.
I still think that they should re-release this game.
I would love to see it on the ps4 updated video to 1080p resolution with full trophy support.
41:05 is one of my favorite scenes in this game.
The actor playing Arthur holmwood (jay nickerson) does a great job in this scene.
I’m about to sit and watch this lol, I remember playing it way way back then. Always remember the coach, and what he would say to the driver! 🙋🏻♀️
The voice acting is pretty good for a FMV 90s game. 👍
OH, DO SHUT UP LEOPOLD!
not gonna lie, that bar impaling him was badass
this game is like an unofficial sequel of the famous novel. I also recognized famous classical pieces of music but i never knew their names
The main theme is "O Fortuna" from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana"
@@AIWboojum but yeah i saw its title in the ending credits. weird
This was actually my first cd rom along with Star Wars Rebel Assault.
Many hours of fun play....the vampiresses sinking their fangs in wasn't so bad.
I loved this game for Sega CD
This was a great game and I wish I still had it, so I do do a walkthrough of all the fails. I played this so many times that I finally got every cut scene on the winning side.
What got me, however, that you didn’t need to do everything in order to survive and win. You can miss the bookstore on day 1 after midnight, as long as you do everything else right on day 2.
The other thing was the disappearance of Lilliana after day 2 when Van Helsing stops her with the cross. They make an important plot point that she was a vampire and they did cut scenes of her being at the cemetery at dusk on day 2 and killing Alexander if he decided to show up there. You have the cloth cut scene with Leopold that really leads nowhere and then the shift focus on Juliet and Anisette. You can see vampire Lilliana again if you stay awake 48 hours on any day of the week, but unless you want to explain her away as a amulet image created by Dracula; she just vanishes with no explanation.
There were so many things you had to get right in this game. Like if you were not there to grab the luney at the asylum he would show up later and kill you. There are so many alternative scenes!

"Quincy? Is that you? Also, how come only one of us has an accent?"
They could only afford one Texan accent I guess.
I played this game when I was a kid and kept getting stuck. There were no guides or cheats to help me and eventually I gave up. Always wanted to know how it ended, and now I do!
Same!
ok so Dracula Unleased has Fmv and yes this is a pc version i know this was exposing familiar from the sega cd aka sega mega cd itself.
I'm brand new to this channel. Watched entirely because I'm a fan of the Dracula games and movies. Amazing job well done. Bram Stoker is a genius. Happy Halloween everyone!
Thanks!

As a great suggestion of being awesome.
www.bitchute.com/
Due to UA-cam is now blocking/silencing/copyrighting/etc many of music,game-plays,commentaries and more. I hope this idea of creating free account on Bitchute will save the trouble of staying awesome.
I have an account there and to be honest free accounts have unlimited length into uploading.
This is not spam and not advertising comment.
Jonathan Harker know what going on when he gave one of the guys a cross.
the Main Character has every thing he needs to slay dracula a cross and knife because the novel states you should cut off the vampire head before killing it
i just saw there is a DVD video version of it, that one looks even better. But it is missen the cool intro with the music :/

Mr. Alexander Morris, the knife is your brother. Keep him safe. Cut lots of cheese with him. Beware d evil. Beware da wampyre. Guard yourself well.

P.S. That's my name. Don't wear it out.
what about game over scenes in this game?
I'm assuming Dracula was played by the same actor who played Arthur.
What is the song in the background at [1:13:30]?
J. S. Bach's Air on the G String (Suite No. 3, BWV 1068)
Surprised no one answered you in three years as it's not really uncommon. It's one of my favorite Classical pieces.
Thanks! I did identify it not too long after I made that comment, I recognized it but I couldn't remember what it was called.

Ah, I'm glad you were able to sort it out long before I popped my head in here. :)
I actually came to this video to search for a song referenced by another video when I happened upon your comment. Gotta watch the whole vid to find it though...
There's not too songs in the game, I could give you some timestamps. What kind of song is it?
@@TheGuyinShades The video referred to a "lullaby" in the game. Just curious as to what the lullaby is. Despite owning a Sega CD back in the day and being a huge fan of horror, I never got my hands on this game, so any direction you can offer would be appreciated. :)
EDIT: In case it helps to see the reference: ua-cam.com/video/8vkpM8eI_wk/v-deo.html
The ending was kinda clichè. ;-;
Dracula 1993 Movie Doing Dracula 90s??? Movie
The acting is horribly cringe :DDD
Well, the game turns 30 this year!
