Amala Festival 2024

Amala Festival is a summer special event, an initiative by Tribes Catering in ‪@thecityofcalgary‬ dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the traditional meal of the Yoruba people of Western Nigeria. This beloved delicacy is enjoyed with a variety of rich, flavorful soups like Gbegiri (bean soup) and Ewedu (Molokhia or Jute), complemented by a selection of proteins, including various cuts of beef and fish. I was there to capture the vibrant sights and sounds of the day, featuring a special performance by the legendary Dr. Adewale Ayuba ‪@Officialayuba‬
