- Dallas Cowboys fans were fired up and angry as they called into WFAA's show one day after the team lost to the Green Bay Packers 48-32 in the NFL wild-card round.

Well look, as a Packer fan it’s great to finally be on the winning side of a playoff upset, but let’s not forget that not too long ago we were in the exact same boat the Cowboys are in now. Remember, 3 years ago we tear thru the season only to lose to Tampa Bay in the playoffs right in frigid Lambeau Field. Then just a year later, we tear thru the season in route to our 6th Super Bowl appearance only to get spanked by the 49ers again in frigid Lambeau Field and last season, all we needed was a victory over Detroit, once again, in Lambeau Field and once again, we choke. Hopefully now that we’re the underdog, we can break some other teams’ heart for a change.

As a Texans fan, it has become a chore reminding Cowboys fans that 1.) Houston has more playoff wins than the Cowboys since 2000 (Texans 1st year in the league), 2.) Tony Romo was not Joe Montana and many fans from other teams don't remember him much/ if at all (because he was average for the garbage NFC (L)East standards). 3.) If you had to flip a coin and it lands heads, you would randomly be assigned a random NFL starting QB for "your team" OR if it lands tails you are given Dak; most people would take the surprise qb since Dak proved he ain't the guy!, 4.) You are not America's team (Americans are actually competitive and like to win), 5.) This won't be your year (Must remind them annually), 6.) 2 generations of driving-aged people exist that haven't seen the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. 7.) I live in Texas and deeply appreciate every stinging loss SF hands to you, the most insufferable, ignorant and arrogant-for-no-reason-because-your-team-sucks-so-bad -------fanbase (AKA all those raging drunks flooding for the exits every January before your last home appearance of the year didn't go as you thought. Why all the shock and disappointment? Cowgirls were highly overrated frauds and those of us who understand the game and aren't bias fanboys with Blinders on knew it all season long. You can beat up on sob-.500 teams all year long and go on home game win streaks against those teams during the regular season all you want; but true contenders and champions win against winning teams, win on the road, and win the big games that matter. But, like usual, Jerry will continue to reward mediocrity. McCarthy and his system isn’t the problem, the issue is the QB choking in the playoffs just like the last qb in Dallas that couldn’t win a playoff game. McCarthy has a great system but without a qb that can read a defense and know who’s going to be open on a play consistently we will see what we saw.
