Hi Matt, i’ve been a subscriber for about five years now and love the channel. Sorry if you’ve covered this in the past, but could you give us a bit of background on yourself regarding your professional life prior to UA-cam as you’ve mentioned you worked in finance, but like me gave that up for a better life. Also I will be visiting Vegas in November after a five year gap and wondered if it’s worth contacting the casino for possible comps on arrival. Prior to this are used to go every year for about 15 years and used to get free rooms and food and play comps though I suspect my records have now been wiped and I’d be treated like a Newby. Keep up the great work. It gives us all, hope that there is a better life out there.
You won't get comps after 5 years. You will need to gamble then try & get comps at the back end based on your play. I was in banking for 35 years. Initially Retail and later an Investment Bank.
@@MattBridger sounds like we trod similar paths. I started in retail and corporate first 8 then 25 in private banking then made my escape and enjoying early retirement dipping into fun little things between travel. Would ve nice to see some old school games played like supercherry if it still exists.
By the way - that pool area you can see from your room is the Terrace Pool (the free one) - they also have a brand new Cascades pool area which is paid entry (all loungers/day beds/cabanas) and it just opened up for the first time last month. Sadly, we paid for our lounge chairs about 3 minutes before they kicked everyone out for the storm 😢

The water softener system is crazy - It feels like you are showering with baby oil or something....I think this is the worst thing about the hotel.
