This is the best level I have ever played in this game. It is actually such a good level, like I can't describe how good this level is. Holy crap bro how do you make this SO GOOD
I first found this level on a rated list, I think it was called "A Trip Downtown" or something like that and this was the only extreme on that list so I decided to play it cause extremes on lists intrigue me for some reason lol.
I didn't think much of this level at first because well, the first 30 seconds of the level are just one spike, triple spike until the level actually begins. It's unfortunate the first 30 seconds of the level is what leads people to not like the level; it is annoying doing it over and over again when you die. But trust me dude this level is so much better than the first 30 seconds.
I went for this extreme cause honestly I thought it was a really easy extreme; and honestly it was lol I could see this being insane demon but I definitely am not complaining about extreme. Some parts like the sideways part threw me off lol but practicing it definitely has made me learn it.
I don't think the gameplay is anything particularly special considering it's mostly cube, but it plays so well in the end with how the sections are made. It makes me enjoy cube more even though it's like one of the most boring gamemodes, but this level makes amazing use of it.
My favorite part of the level is the randomized cube part from 62-78%, it is when the level gets ridiculously laggy (You can see my fps drop and I just got my new pc a week ago lol) but IT IS SUCH A COOL PART HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS. A lot of people don't like this part because it's randomized but it's not that randomized. Most of the orbs have 2-3 combinations so when you play the randomized cube section more and more, you will get used to what it has. The only thing you have to do is really pay attention to where the orbs will take you (I think that throws people off the most).
I love the song in this level so much; it's one of my favorite songs of all time and I'm glad this level introduced me to it. The song is done incredibly right in this level; I particularly like the sideways section's use of the song as the song during that part is quiet (I like to think it's nighttime during that part since it's dark, hence why it's quiet) and the first 30 seconds too believe it or not. The first 30 seconds may be repetitive but the song saves it.
I honestly don't even know what else to say bruh this is just a great level in general. If you have the skill for this, patience for longer levels, AND a decent pc (Lol trust me this level gets laggy AF) PLEASE do this level it's so good. Definitely my favorite level in the game, and that's funny because extreme is one of the worst difficulties in the game (IMO).
