I use it for work and now I'm stuck what can I do??
A few years ago I got one that works with a laptop. As others have said, there is some lag, which is not a dealbreaker in itself. Eventually I got a binocular microscope that is so much better for live viewing, soldering etc. But for posting results as a still shot or video, you slide back to monocular viewing anyway. Yours looks great!
+spelunkered - I have not noticed any lag, Dave. Of course, a binocular scope is a step up. Does it focus high enough above work for soldering...am curious? Also curious, are you on the island? Denis

+Martinloren R&D - yep, does a nice job on that. When I find time, I'll be sending you pictures of various HC-06 boards using this scope, some that work, some that don't, and some that do strange things. We'll try to get to the bottom of this issue...
I got mine on the 24th as well. I took it apart to see the size of the battery because it seemed to drain quick. I drained and recharged the battery on a rc battery charger to find out how many mA the battery could hold. It is a 1 cell lipo and mine has a 2200 mA capacity when fully charged. What program are you using to view on your computer? I am trying "Debut Video Capture Software" the free version.
+Imt200 - I didn't get a battery with mine. One can be added but I won't bother. The biggest drawback is having to reset the settings if powered down. In the video, I simply used the .MOV file from the microSD card and imported that in my editing software (CAMTASIA). If microscope is connected to the laptop, no extra software is required as the Windows camera app does the job. Does yours say "MICROSCOPE" on the bezel?
+Samson S - no, I did not get the battery. It works off a 5v power supply. The main inconvenience is the settings are cleared each time it's powered OFF. But, as with all equipment when I make a video, I would double check those settings anyways (I've learned!). I'm OK without. A battery can be added later but the description is vague so if you want the battery model it is best to order one with it.
¿Do you recommend it then? ¿It is good for soldering with flux(you know that Flex fluid reflects the lighting of the magnifier)? Thanks for answering me.

Took your advise on the microscope and am totally disappointed. The first one was damaged in shipping and the second one (replacement) started out ok but after one use it decided it didn't want to turn on anymore. +ImLee - I did briefly test it out with the standard camera app that is built in Windows. No additional software. Connected and displayed just fine. There are also contrast, sharpness and brightness settings in the microscope menu.
logical canuck I did the same, but changing these settings directly in the microscope or in the software do not effect the picture or the video on my PC.
@@ImLeeAT - I would think those microscope menu settings apply only to its LCD. You would have to adjust the PC display settings if viewed through there... I mainly use the 7" LCD and the sdCard for video content creation.
What you don't realise is that it has a 12 Mp sensor.......that is important when you save an image to an SD card and then blow it up on your computer with whatever program you have for viewing JPEG files...........any of the cheaper microscopes with only 2 Mp sensors will pixilate when you try to blow the image up from an SD card on the PC screen. With the in built 7 " screen you can get by with lot less pixels as the screen is so small. So, you "could" really get a huge magnification with this microscope mainly due to the big sensor pixel count but mainly on a bigger PC screen from an SD card JPEG file.
@@theGADGETSplaylist Hmmm....more or less, but not the actual MP count which is a more important feature for later viewing on the PC from an SD card file.
