As I said in the video this is a rough idea on how many PO8 you'll need to save in order to Max out all of the standard Manufactories, as long as the PO8 dont get reset and as long as we get the same amount of Manufactories available for the Base zones. It makes more sense to convert it to silver, so that time will not be wasted. At least in the information on the game loading screen, there was information that we could exchange it for silver in the black market.

I don't care if po8 get reset so long as we know beforehand. But then I'm not a min/max'r nor leaderboard chaser so I'm just ticking along with 6 or 7 Red Isle manufactories producing about 10k po8 per run (combined), plenty enough to make diamond before the season ends. My fear is that the minority who have chased having all manufactories unlocked and max'd them out to 10 will drive the devs to massively inflate the po8 needed for the leaderboard progress moving forward, making it more difficult for the casual player in the future to earn sovereigns. Hopefully they'll change to a leaderboard that doesn't depend solely on po8 production.
People complaining if they rest obviously have never played a game where when you beat it you have to start over with nothing.
If ymthey get reset so be it. If they stay ill be super good at start of season two.
To check po8 go to black market choose to buy helm material whyms or orca max out the amount you can buy gives you the total po8 use snow
I try that but the currency keeps disappearing for whatever reason
I wanna know if Sovereigns will get reset. Po8 I assume will. But Sovereigns are even harder to earn, and if they are getting reset I wanna know so I can spend the ones I have saved up on some stuff from the black market like extra black prince armour/twin winches etc

Ive got enough pieces of 8 to get the map to lvl10 but whats the point! Ive bought everything i like to use killed all captain s bought all boats and top lvl hulls zamza 3s carronades they will ruin this game if i have to start again!!!
I can see myself getting all of the Red Isles but ain't no way I'm getting every spot on the entire map.

Man I hope the manufacturies don't get reset. Who wants to fo through all of that again when Im assuming the new map will have more to takeover and level up. Im hoping the only thing that gets reset are the upgrades that make things cheaper and more efficient.

@@vAaron-X I guess I don't understand why they would make it so that we have to keep manufacturing and collecting po8 in order to do our upgrades as well as leveling each location from 1 to 10 only to start collecting and saving po8 to do it all over again next season. I've almost gotten all of my manufacturies to lvl 10 as well as maxed out all the helm upgrades and hearing this that it will result is unsettling.
What is the purpose of the PO8 other than buying items from the Helm?

Nah po8 get reset to 300k so anything over is wasted and I'd also waste silver funding them

Their leaderboard system is one of the most boring I have seen in a game.
Sadly people working together on helm wagers and sharing accounts have made the leaderboards unfair. However I'm not really into it
I've been struggling to just log into this game. I haven't been on in over 2 weeks. I'm no longer seeing the point. I do not have all the factories unlocked just the red isle ones and few in Africa. I am able to get enough Po8 and sovereigns to get the gear i want. I don't care about the leaderboards, don't care about the Le Peste stuff or the ghost ships, to roaming bosses don't drop any loot worth a damn. So what really is there to do except sail around and collect Po8 and farm silver once every few days? I am hoping Season 2 brings me back in. The fleet management mechanic will be a make or break for me. BUT unless they have other things to do it won't be worth it. IDK maybe I'll log on tonight just to play for a little bit. Happy hunting all.
Understandable. I'm currently switching between skull and bones and ESO lol. Taking out a level 15 la peste that drops hardly anything is pointless to me
I think the key is to focus on enjoying the gameplay - sailing the seas, sink some ships, enjoy the scenery, sink more ships. Focusing only on the rewards one gets, like po8, silver or gear for example, distracts from the most important thing one should get from any game.....fun.....and that comes from the gameplay moreso than the rewards. IMHO of course, everyone is different.

I think they need to reset it all. The no lifers who cry about loosing will play anyway. It sucks that has to be done but it’s the only way to make sure it’s an even playing field.

Facts i grinded wayy to many hours and put wayy to much steel to see my po8 drop to zero😤
