I'm not sure what you mean by this. I can only play as characters and factions that are included in the games or mods. I never create or play custom heroes.
Maybe I'm still misunderstanding, but there is definitely not a Lindon faction in AotR 8.3.1. You can, however, recruit Lindon Warriors and Lindon Spearmen from the Rivendell Dormitory. They also have adventure-only factions like Angmar, Arthedain, and Rhûn. Maybe Lindon is included as an adventure-only faction? I'm not sure how to play them, but I'd like to learn.
