@@LucasFromTexas you’re right. It’s in almost all the videos I watch lately. He is pretending to be whoever is doing the videos. Do you watch Cash Jordan’s NYC videos? I watch them every day and same thing. A guy is pretending to be Cash Jordan and asking me wrote to him on what’s app ( which I’d never heard of and don’t even have).
If it cost you 200 million doesn't mean it's worth 200 million
@Money Flow Academy THis is spam, go play in the traffic blindfolded
The helicopter was just a replica. The house finally sold after they removed the fake helicopter, the big silver camera, and a bunch more of the tacky art installations. It's a fantastic house and location.
lol was going to say seems like a great house filled with some crazy old rich person hoarding random stuff, not surprised that was the issue.
What a complete and utter waste of land. Could've build rowhomes or condos in the best possible location with the best possible amenities and had it cashflow instead of selling it for a $100 million loss.
No rich person who can afford to live in Beverly Hills would want to stay in a condo there methinks. I’m also doubtful the local council would approve a high enough density to enable them to sell enough condo units at a low enough price to capture the poorer, middle-upper middle income folk 😂

Putting a bunch of gimmicky things in a house doesn’t make it worth an extra 100 million. That was an 80 milliion dollar house with 100 million in hopes and dreams.
These are my thoughts as well. Everyone involved in the developing, listing, and selling of this property were delusional if they ever believed it would actually sell for $250MM.
De hecho esta casa costaba 250 millones
Diversifying your income streams by investing in opportunities that are not dependent on government support can help protect you from economic downturns and provide financial stability. This is especially important during times of economic uncertainty.
Achieving significant gains in the stock market is not about picking the hottest stocks. It's about carefully managing the risk and potential reward of your investments. This means having the right amount of money invested and maximizing the potential of your strategies. This is best done with the guidance of a professional financial adviser.

What we Learn??? Never buy items when they're hot in the market. Wait for the noise to cool off. You will get it cheaper, or you may no longer be interested in it saving you the money
Obviously this is a beautiful house. The thing that bothers me though is that someone else decorated it and if I were to buy it I would want it to reflect my tastes not the taste of someone who thought a nonworking helicopter was an art piece.😐
Yea no shit, not to mention it’s way too huge for most people and feels more like a corporate building or mall than an abode. I predict a ton of luxury houses in California will plummet in value soon. They keep making more and more huge $50+ million dollar houses and I promise you lots of them are not selling
@@typicallymoody Yes, good point, too friggen big.

You can buy that in south Spain for less than 25Mill with way better views and a more relaxed life than in LA.
Yes, so that later they take 80% of your salary
As someone who's luxury market is between 1m-2.5m, I love hearing the pricing, strategy, and thought that goes behind building and selling these trophy properties. Keep up the great work!
Simple answer: people just arent as stupid as they thought.
They def are inflating the construction labor rate they actually paid.
this kinda flashy and "loud" homes are exactly what billionaires would not want.
My broker found the buyer then started our company lol.. Insane property!! Still one of the best custom moderns in LA
Why?? Because it was never actually worth 188 million dollars to begin with.
Thanks for your energy Ryan. I’ve been in sales for decades and love the energy you bring, disperse and energize others with! Cheers
I agree. A good attitude plus positive energy equals endless possibilities!
Yes, I like this kind of video. I always want to know behind-the-scenes info on these houses and who the buyers are, etc. So yes, please make more. Especially on New York City real estate and townhouses
Every billionaire that had seen the house already knew it wasn’t worth what they were asking. That 250M asking price was clearly a marketing tactic.
Reminds me of "The One" - that they asked $500 million. Course, I'll be curious to see what the penthouse Ryan is selling for $250 million ends up going for.
@@jamesrawlins735 135 mill tops
I wanna see whats inside that giant safe
Good clip! Ryan should have done ‘the One’ as well...sold 126mill at auction...initial asking 500 then 298million...true market value was around 200 million...sold well below market value.
Yes more bonus cuts, behind the scenes stuff of real negotiations that most people don't get to see.
You basically just called yourself out for your own $250m listing 😂
I think we need to have a intervention about Ryan's bracelets, the amount of getting out of hand. At this rate he'll be all bracelet next Christmas...
No house is that valuable. Just a necessity for those who like to waste money.
seems like this house was made according to the developers personal taste. he could have just built this for himself and invested his money in other properties with better returns.
I’m here for this kind of content! Good stuff Ryan.
You were paying more for the art and furniture than a house
I know I'm about a week late, but I wanted to say this was a really cool video, looking back on previous house tours and the little "directors cut" never before seen footage lol I really hope you continue to do these! Thanks for another great video Ryan!
Glad to see we were all right when we said it was overpriced garbage.
No deal if Central Park doesn't come with chewing gum in the elevators.
Correction the 88 million dollar house was listed 250 million
I would personally buy that house to be my fantasy party house!
Moreover, that 60% was knocked off because there was no engine in the helicopter lol
We all knew it was stupid.
It was sold with everything and accessories (helicopter, sailboat, cars and pieces of art)
because it was WAY over listed
I remember, and said it would sell for half. Almost got it!
Objectively speaking, my favorite property tour that you’ve done is your Brooklyn brownstone. Impeccable renovation.
Yeah the house was nice but I found it over the top
It just screamed lonely billionaire
Like I noticed even when the listing agent was showing you the guitar you drifted off elsewhere lol
Yes, please! Lets have Director's Cuts of your past property tours.
If it sold for $100m less than $188m it’s an $88m mansion
Yes on more director’s cuts, please!
would like to see more of that very informative content, thank you!
Yes yes yes. Ryan unfiltered
Form that amount of money I can build a house to my exact taste and I guess people with that amount of money would not want a customized home to other's people taste
you opened me a new way of seeing art prices
People who can spend that sort of money on their home usually don't want someone else's dream home. They will build their own.
Hell yeah. We want more!
I'll build that staircase gold plated for 2 million and still walk away with 1.5 million in profit.
I've followed you for years...You really are the best promoter & such a great host...Please do more director cuts...I think it would be awesome...Live it well Ryan...

Does this tell us that the super rich are dumb lol? Thank you so much for sharing!
No it tells us Real Estate agents are thieves.
@@tundejones274 Thieves robbing thieves then!! 😂😂
Of course! 99% of real state was overpriced anyways. And at 88m it's still expensive for what it is!
house had no charm or taste. just expensive stuff in it
Thanks for the down to earth content.
Love these follow up videos. Keep them coming Ryan!
The helicopter was one of the static models from the TV show AirWolf
I love the way Ryan talks !!! So much energy ‼️‼️‼️
The house sold for what somebody was prepared to pay for it. Simple as that.
yes a house is only ever worth what someone is willing to pay. Seems the purchaser had more sense than the guy who had it built.
@@katbar6066 actually it was never built at price of 250 million i guess the cars and stuff combined are at 30 million and making price of the house is around 50-80 million or so. i guess for the 90 million price they removed the cars most likely and now its a profit of 10-40 million which is pretty good
They removed the helicopter, the camera, other stuff... then it sold.

Yes, show us more behind the scenes!!!
Price is what you pay and value is what you get. Most of the time the value is lower than the price you pay as a buyer. Selling a property doesn't teach you at school, you learn in life...hence you're not educated and of course you probably never use a valuation. It's all about emotions and you just highlighted here...the irrational, no logic customer who bought a house over zoom and paid USD 15m over what the market was thinking it's worth, if this actually really happened.
Ah yes...The mansion that was overvalued by $100M and therefore sold for $100M less than it listed for...So now Ryan is making a video pretending that it wasn't listed for $100M over what the market would have paid in the 1st place...
so everybody is wins. 😄
The viewers are satisfied, too - see all the compliments for Ryan here. 😃
Real estate is worth whatever the acreage is worth at that market range. Nobody wants to buy another man's overpriced art collection then pay to have it hauled away to build their OWN dream.
Hell, nobody even lives in it, I don't think. A monstrosity that shouldn't even have been built. I don't know what LA even allows these 30,000 to 50,000 square foot homes to be built. 25,000 should be the limit and even that is pushing it.
Behind the scenes... all the way! Excellent.
Esta mansión salió ala venta por un estimado de 250 millones, tal parece que se volvió un dolor de cabeza sostener algo así para devaluarse tanto.
I love the way you project things. I watch couple of realstate UA-cam listing as I can say I enjoy the most watching u all time favourite. U made people rich seeing ur luxury listings. Keep posting regular video of luxury properties a cross globe.... Good luck....ur fan from canada edmonton
Justice when scammers don’t get their way
It's a different universe they live and operate in. Thanks for being a fun and inspiring guide!
The Theodor Geisel property in La Jolla was recently taken off the MLS because it was totally not worth 19M. Maybe 13.5M at most in this market.
Same situation regarding the property called The One … that was first up for sale for 500 Million Dollars… developer’s when bust and sold for less than half the asking price …..
This mansion was 250 then went to 180 then went down to 100
my favorite part is when ryan says no bullshit LOL
Why does anyone need 21 bathrooms ??
I’ve never understood why these mega mansions have nearly double the amount of bathrooms as bedrooms 🤷♂️
I mean I won’t lie that staircase caught my attention right off bat before even mentioned them. Def a house I dig
I’d love to hear about the property in Miami Beach when it sells. The fixer upper for $100 million.
Yea whoever built this house was laundering drug money lol- 2M for a staircase 🤣🤣🤣
Let’s make it so #1
Money doesn't buy taste. $90 million worth of cheese.
This is great Ryan. I would definitely watch more BTS, director’s cut content!
I'd put something really special in the safe.. something like a terrarium.
Just like any commodities, start with substantial MARK- UP & unrealistic prices , there are suckers everywhere
More reviews on previous tours pls
THESE HOUSES ARE ALWAYS OVER priced in these shows-How do they even determine the prices that Ryan shows? He can come up with ANY number then says the house is worth $200,000,000 by just GUESS WORK
Great video, Ryan! Please give us the directors cut for, The House of Doors!”
tiene información en Español?
Where is the $250m sky tour? Can't wait to see it!

How did that amazing safe get cut from the video? 😢
I started off being interested in watching your show, few episodes later I was going through training, and at this episode I'm following up with several hot leads,
you are definitely an inspirational role model to me Ryan, so so grateful for your work!!
Meanwhile some wall art goes for millions more! That blows my mind.
I'd take a livable pad with Airwolf
if you bought that house I dont think you would have the time to decorate it
They built it like a arts gallery or VIP social club that’s why
7:50 just cuz ur time is precious
The 250 mill price included the cars, copter, yada yada yada. None of the perks meaning "moveable" pieces Ie: the cars and the copter would be included in the 88 million that this property eventually sold for. The only things included would be the immoveable portion meaning the actual house and property.
Its extremly hard to sale a $180 million dollar work of art that you live in for $180 million dollars. Its art. People see it differnetly.
Pricing failed because this place is soooo tacky
