I think mental health plays a very important role in skin care and overall health. 4 years ago i was not stressed but i was not even using any of the skin care products i used to apply body lotion as a moisturizer on my face, i used to workout regularly eat normal healthy food and skin used to glow so much and then shit hit the fan and i was depressed stressed suicidal and i stopped taking care of myself, started taking food as a coping mechanism and stress eating no work outs, i noticed the dullness on my skin i started using all the toners serums and what not but my skin is still pretty much dead. You just need to be happy on the inside, the skin will glow all by itself.
So dumb question everyone knows skin can’t absorb collagen you can only ingest it to get its benefits so what’s in the mask that makes your skin so nice?
Your skin can absorb collagen, but topically applied collagen will hydrate the skin. It won't give you anti-aging benefits like some people think. People just know that a loss of collagen will result in signs of aging, so they think applying collagen on the skin will replace the lost collagen, but it won't. It's still not a useless skincare ingredient though, because hydration is important too!
