I live in the rust belt and have grown accustom to changing calipers occasionally. Sometimes when they have many miles/years on them they get sticky or difficult to get slider boots installed into them. For the cost of a rebuilt one, it's a no brainer.
Thanks for the comments Nicholas, we are in SoCal so we rarely have any issues with rust. Guess we are just used to refurbishing parts since they are not that bad. But you are correct, the time spent and the cost for most new parts, it's just easier to bolt on replacements. Cheers!
I have no interest at all in anything with Ford F150s, but I'll watch any video you put up just because they're entertaining and fun to learn or see different vehicles and things you say or do. Hoping to see more stuff related to the Jetta in the future! Would love more videos on it! Keep it up dude, appreciate your content! This is a lot of good info for a used car.
Thanks for the kind words George, glad you are enjoying the content. We have more Euro content in the pipeline as you can see the Passat TDI up in the air in the background. It's fun to see these sweet family deals come up. Glad we could highlight the typical things to look for for cars that have been sitting for awhile. Cheers!

The funny thing is his Grandma wouldn't give it to him and made him pay the $1 for it. 😎 It's a solid truck even if it cost $3-4k. To have a good running truck is priceless when you don't have one. Cheers!
Got to love these family deals, it's fun to see them when they come up. The funny thing is his grandma refused to give it to him. She made him pay the actual $1 before handing over the title. Thanks for hanging out, Cheers!

Should they change the differential fluid?
Thanks for the question Mel, it definitely wouldn't hurt to change it. I think Ford recommends to change it every 150k miles so it's due.
Cheers!
