I never have a gap year ,even after graduation keep working for 15 year now. What's I gain is more debt and yes more life experience in workplace but not much for life experience outside the work or my job

It is. it could be frustrating not understanding the listening, but in my opinion the best way to get to an advanced level and have a better understanding of English is to push yourself in order to improve your listening skills and to amplify your vocabulary with challenging words and more sophisticated structures. So, push yourself!
