I always hate waiting for my infants and toddlers to get milestones so they can do fun things 😂 i dont think ive ever unlocked all milestones

I know it’s probably moot now, but sending toddlers to bed with all or a significant number of their needs in the red during a thunderstorm will almost always trigger a nightmare. Even with the nightlight that’s supposed to stop nightmares.
The movement milestones are a little buggy for top notch infants because they start out ahead on the skill - I had to cheat my toddler back to level 4 to get the max movement and learn to run milestones. Sigh. Other than that, very fun video - will subscribe! :)
Daycare milestone is only for when the parent is gone to work.
yeah i sent both the mother and father to work and the toddler just unlocked the daycare milestone
You can also go volunteer. Any rabbit hole activity will work.
To get toddlers to have a nightmare , get them to watch a horror movie on the tv with another sim. a nightmare is guaranteed!
I did that but the toddler did not have a nightmare that is really weird
By far, the fastest way to get a toddler's thinking skill up is by having them "watch" the adults or other sims in the house.
Specially if those sims are doing something that needs a lot of thinking, like painting, playing chess or playing an instrument. Then thinking skill skyrockets.
I think the daycare one is unlocked when the parent goes to work
just a few tips for when you play with toddlers in the future:
- choosing “make believe” or “play inside” (if i remember the names of the interactions correctly) with the play tent rapidly increases the imagination skill
- clicking on other sims and choosing “watch” under friendly interactions rapidly increases the thinking skill
- talking to plants rapidly increases the communication skill
Also talking to one of the life size stuffed animals (teddy, dino, unicorn, etc) increase communication skill really quickly
The daycare one requires the child stay at home as active but the parent leaves. It's completely counterintuitive.
Oh, if anyone wants to get the first childhood friend milestone, it’s important to keep in mind that it doesn’t work if the other child isn’t related to your sim in any way other than roommate.
I'm pretty sure I got it using the large stuffed animal so you don't even need add a new sim that you need to also care for...
why did you word that sentence so confusingly 😭 does the child have to be related to the other kid or no?

My toddlers constantly get nightmares. It's a raincloud emote. Watching scary movies before bed helps
Im so competitive that the milestones kind of ruined my gameplay😂. I already tried to max their age related skills before letting them age up so i with milestones i tried to get as many as possible.
OMG the same exact thing for me 😭I already was making my toddlers max all skills, children max scout badges and at least 1-2 aspirations, but now with milestones its another thing that I always feel the need to do
Lucky with the nighmares... I think when I played in 2019/2020 my toddlers and children would frequently get nightmares, but maybe its the fact that their mom and dad constantly argued!

Don't have it on short life span. And I don't think that it matters what personality a toddler has, every single toddler had nightmares in my games. Just have to be patient

@@SallyM911 idk they just had them. Maybe depends in what mood they go to sleep? Idk
@@SallyM911if they are sad and go to sleep they could have a nightmare. For eg if they have a potty accident, make them go to sleep while the moodlet is active
Make sure you don't hace those night lights specially for kids, they make the nightmares and monsters for children disappear completely.
What a shock, Maxis puts things in the Sims 4, and they don't register even though the player did them. Major LOL!
That poor second kid. She only exists to serve the main one. 😢😂

I see the Maxed Movement Skill milestone is bucked for you too: you've got all the other motor skill related milestones unlocked but not that one.

I have noticed if they age up with level 2 motor skills getting those milestones are kind of buggy
It baffles me that you haven’t had a toddler have a nightmare. At some point you had to of and just not realized it. When she goes to sleep don’t put the night light around her. My sims have a nightmare at least once or twice while they’re toddlers.

So it looks like the movement bug was fixed where if ur infant got milestones that boosted toddler motor skill to 2 it would lock ur toddler out of those movement milestones but u got them so cool
My toddler and my infant had a nightmare out of my control 😅 it was Thundering outside in the game and my single mother was scared the two woke up to a nightmare I was a bit worried 😂..
The toddler tablet is really good for building the thinking skill
There’s a toddler lunchbox mod that toddlers can serve themselves. It’s great! 😂
You maxed imagination before you tried for a nightmare, that basically stops nightmares.

guys listen to unlock the nightmare milestone you do not have to do anything , for me I give the toddler the best day ever and suddenly she had a nightmare so it depends on luck not on something that you can do
the tablet for kids was a life saver; flash cards seem too slow.
If I were in your shows, I would continue this in the challenge of akeing a super sim. You started from the scrach and begening. Why not contiue this way and acchive all asperationa, maxing out all the skill and so on...

Even when my game isn't glitching I tend to hyst use cheats to max out infant and toddler milestones.
You can get the toddler tablet and that is amazing for skills

Does anyone else do this?? I get a sims charater and when the child gets to young adult lr teen i move them out and when theyre young adults i get the house trait thing Where it makes my chance of twins higher and then i repeat 😂
Toddlers pretty much never have nightmares if you read them to sleep, if they go to sleep on their own then they have them all the time
To make the toddler go to daycare you have to actually apply to it
Nah, you just have to leave the child at home and go to work, if you leave to go somewhere else it doesn't count for some reason
