He always helped and never killed. Later he became a CG in order to save more and more people, and that was true, but to do it he had to kill. Well, he was forced to kill, even if there was no need, just because humanity said so. He was betrayed by mankind, but he's still hoping that in future the things will go in a better direction.

As someone who enjoys Amvs for a first it's rather well-done with good editing. Sadly good seamless amv's are overlooked while an amv that's just an episode unedited with the subtitles still on the screen but has something like Linkin park blasting over the episode audio but just not enough to drown it out will end up with 1,000,000 views.

To stay with the fact: Gilgamesh is weak!!! He has no weapon skill of his own whatsoever. That is the reason shiro could beat him. The only reason Gilgamesh is so overwhelming IS, he has an nearly unlimited Armament of all magic-super-weapons the world had!!! And these, he just summons and throws on his opponent like a child throwing a tantrum and mistakes the power of his weapons for his own. That's why he is an arrogant prick. Any weapon master is just overwhelmed by the sheer amount of weapons with special abilities raining down. Let's say you have and can fire nuclear missles, you can destroy the world but makes that you stronger than bruce lee or chuck norris??? The nuclear weapon isn't your power. Shiro archer is the only one that has a chance to defeat this walking weaponstore because he too can create an unlimited amount of noble phantasms!!! But he has something gilgamesh misses in spite of everything. He has "skill". You can see what difference that makes when Gilgamesh finally put out his ace in the whole, the strongest of all noble phantasms "Ea", in the unlimited blade works arc!!! But what difference does that make if your opponent doesn't give you the time to use it??? Shiro with his petty new weapon skills just cut of his "arm" that was holding it. The weapon might be the strongest, the human body isn't. In a "fair" duel fight against gilgamesh I would always put my money on shiro archer to win. Since Gilgamesh, cause of his fucking pride, never ever bothered to learn to use his noble phatasms to their highest potential. If Gilgamesh ever tries to get proficient in weapon arts himself it would be another story though, but since he thinks of himself as being perfect that will never happen. A good example for why overly confident pride makes you weak. Shiro Archer is definitely the stronger servant here just not the mightiest one. It's like comparing the US president with a mighty warrior. The strongest servant still is heracles though. Archer would not be able to beat him nor is any other servant likely to win in a fair fight against him cause they don't have Enkidu. Gilgamesh could beat him and only because he has Enkidu and Heracles was handicapped by protecting weak Ilya, limiting his movemant range. Otherwise the chains would have had a much harder chance, if any, catching him. It is like the rock-paper-scissors-princip.

To stay with the fact: Gilgamesh is weak!!! He has no weapon skill of his own whatsoever. That is the reason shiro could beat him. The only reason Gilgamesh is so overwhelming IS, he has an nearly unlimited Armament of all magic-super-weapons the world had!!! And these, he just summons and throws on his opponent like a child throwing a tantrum and mistakes the power of his weapons for his own. That's why he is an arrogant prick. Any weapon master is just overwhelmed by the sheer amount of weapons with special abilities raining down.
Let's say you have and can fire nuclear missles, you can destroy the world but makes that you stronger than bruce lee or chuck norris??? The nuclear weapon isn't your power. Shiro archer is the only one that has a chance to defeat this walking weaponstore because he too can create an unlimited amount of noble phantasms!!! But he has something gilgamesh misses in spite of everything. He has "skill". You can see what difference that makes when Gilgamesh finally put out his ace in the whole, the strongest of all noble phantasms "Ea", in the unlimited blade works arc!!! But what difference does that make if your opponent doesn't give you the time to use it??? Shiro with his petty new weapon skills just cut of his "arm" that was holding it. The weapon might be the strongest, the human body isn't.
In a "fair" duel fight against gilgamesh I would always put my money on shiro archer to win. Since Gilgamesh, cause of his fucking pride, never ever bothered to learn to use his noble phatasms to their highest potential. If Gilgamesh ever tries to get proficient in weapon arts himself it would be another story though, but since he thinks of himself as being perfect that will never happen. A good example for why overly confident pride makes you weak. Shiro Archer is definitely the stronger servant here just not the mightiest one. It's like comparing the US president with a mighty warrior.
The strongest servant still is heracles though. Archer would not be able to beat him nor is any other servant likely to win in a fair fight against him cause they don't have Enkidu. Gilgamesh could beat him and only because he has Enkidu and Heracles was handicapped by protecting weak Ilya, limiting his movemant range. Otherwise the chains would have had a much harder chance, if any, catching him. It is like the rock-paper-scissors-princip.
