If you ever feel burnt out it's good to take a break. However, I know the algorithm doesn't like that so I suggest going back to the basics instead. Build something you know you can do, but improve upon it!
I think this plane would make for a great interceptor, or if it had a bomb bay, it could be heavy cas. A trick I have found to blend the fuselage better is after you align the vertices, pick the next vertex, and bring it as close to the surface of the body without it popping out, it shoukd really make the reflection difference less noticeable (this happens because of how flyout calculates reflections brw)
Aircraft lore: (A country of your choice) has decided to keep going where Germany had left off in the Horton 229. after several years of retrofitting, had finally flourished into a interceptor and was a successful design, and the two aircraft (H299 and the interceptor) barely looked alike. I've got some ideas, but look after yourself too! Flyout 1. forward swept wings aircraft 2. build a tank in flyout idk Sprocket 1. big gun, small tank 2. small gun, big tank 3. tank with a barrel so short its basically a melee tank 4. a u t o c a n n o n i n e a r l y w a r 5. MBT
Feels like a 50s-60s experimental Soviet fighter! Reminds me specifically of the mig-15, but it might just be the colors. And with the manuverability, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say it could be pure air superiority.
Based on the small size and extra room in the wings for fuel capacity, I imagine this little guy as an "on call" ground support plane, something deployed close to the front, able to take off from short or even improvised airstrips, and can stay in the air for a long period of time basically waiting for someone on the ground to call in a rocket or cannon strike. Sort of like the A-1 Skyraider, but as a jet.
The main advantages of blended wings is better lift distribution, more volume for fuel, and better efficiency cause airflow is more even, so a long range escort fighter or a recon plane would make sense
you should take one of your older builds (doesnt matter if its a jet or prop) and make them into something like the f82 twin musang or bf109Z kind of style. and you should add at least another 4 to 6 guns on it. dont know if its something a lot would like to see but i would like to see it.
I think this could very well be an armed reconnaissance plane. That large surface area makes me feel like it can fly slow and carry a lot of fuel to loiter in an area for hours. I would arm it with anti-radiation missiles for Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses, and probably some A2A for self defense. Underslung precision guided bombs could also be worth considering in case it needs to take out any high-value, high-priority targets it could possibly encounter.
I Think it would be a great reconnaissance fighter as for the high fuel long range missions and the shape would be hard to identify as a jet if there is no afterburner but it can still put up a fight if spotted also keep up the great work 👍
With some slight modifications this would make a great parasite fighter. it's already small, fast, and maneuverable it'd be perfect for the role where a large bomber could take one or two with them
If you want to make more blended-looking blended wings, you could try making a custom wing from a fuselage piece, with aerodynamics turned off, and custom control surfaces. Then set the actual wing to have the hole material so that it is invisible, it will still fly relatively the same as before, but just looks a bit smoother. The whole process can take a lot of work though.
My head canon for an aircraft like this one would be that it would be developed by a lesser power who has the technology not just to design but manufacture and service an aircraft with such complex curves, but does not yet have much expertise with naval aviation or VTOL. I can easily see this little fighter on the deck of a light carrier, like those that rely on jump ramps rather than catapults. A design like this probably would have loads of lift at low speeds at the cost of cruising speed. The winged body design would probably also be helpful for holding larger amounts of fuel for such an aircraft who may need to sortie for longer or loiter for much longer before returning to carrier, as a more developing carrier wouldn't be nearly as efficient at resupplying as a much larger or more advanced carrier would. I can easily imagine seeing these on the deck of a carrier, especially with that crease in the center of the wings as I can imagine them folding upwards there. With less deck space, no below deck hangers, or something like the advanced arresting gear and catapults modern super carriers have it would probably make the most sense to either field something like this that excels in short takeoff and landings, and has a high fuel capacity. Especially if they cannot justify the cost of building a more advanced and expensive set of carriers or cannot afford or acquire something like the F-35 or harrier. Anyways that's enough rambling, I love your content
@@wulfleyn6498 Yeah the tracks would be probably impossible, you might be able to make a rotating turret if you get creative, at the very least a wheeled tank destroyer is simple
I'd imagine a BWB could be a long range naval strike aircraft. The full wing body would allow for greater range meaning you could strike anti ship installations outside of their range of the ship itself.
If you’re running into creative issues you should do fan-build showcases *buuut* with a twist. You are the “government” and you are asking us fans aka the contractors to build a plane in respect of the requirements. For example, you ask us to build a twin jet engine attack airplane. With high survivability when hit by sams, long loitering time, 10+ hard points and the ability to defensively dogfight. Sort of like the A-4 irl. You and messier inspired my to get this game. Since then I’ve been having a great time! Just thought I should throw that out there too!

For a summary of the video : patch it’s makes a me-163, but with jet propulsion
I can’t shake the idea This is actually just an f16 stripped of it’s fuselage and put into a oversized Dorito
ROCKET FIGHTER!!!!! give it rockets in the wing

I'd give it a similar role to early migs - interception / training.
Probably a recon plane that could maybe do small attack missions
Blud got that ksp mk2 spaceplane fuselage

Long range multirole fighter bomber
it would probably be much better used as a light stealth bomber or an attack aircraft with stealth capabilities.
What about a 3 engine fighter/interceptor from the 70s. Think F-14 but with less regard for the ozone layer
