    Turtles need to absorb UV through their shells in order to get vitamins. They will slowly unalive if you paint their shells. If you have a pet turtle or catch one in the wild please don't do this if you see this video and think it's cute. It can also poison their lungs

      Yeah when I saw it at first I was like oh cool those look really life like (thinking they were little robo-fish or something) but them being live is a bummer. The paint is horrible for the turtles and between that and being constantly "fished" theyve gotta be incredibly stressed for their shortened life spans.

    It's very true the idea of animal cruelty has not caught up in China. I was there last year and accidentally visited one of these mall zoos. The animals were all clearly drugged up allowing people to grab them at will for photos. Also this isn't just any zoo in the world. Think about how much space an animal like an emu or ostrich really needs to run around.

      I was really saddened when I saw those turtles with painted shells. Their shells are how they absorb UV light needed for shell growth and bone health. Not to mention that potentially toxic paint. I go could go on and on about those poor Emus and other animals but I won't.

    Don't get me wrong, I think screen controls are a pretty neat capability for a car. Keeps it more sleek looking and gives you more options of functionality. However... I feel like it's a safety risk that contributes to distracted driving. I prefer actual buttons and knobs that I can feel without looking. Remember those really old school car radios that had those big push buttons for your preset radio channels? And the channel display was just a needle that would slide right and left over the am/fm band chart. lol

    • @MysterBlu
      @MysterBlu Місяць тому +5

      I feel like this is the reason why these cars can't exist in the US besides tariffs. People here already have a hard enough time not getting into accidents in cars without screens in them. If there's one thing we kinda have a leg up on over most countries, it's safety standards. Both in buildings and products. A lot of red tape, but it's there for a reason.

      I guess in the future there'll be more voice control options to mitigate distracted driving with these super techy vehicles.
      I currently own a 2024 kia sportage. And let me tell you, the voice control for their GPS is just game changing. I'll be driving without looking down at the screen..."Go...McDonald's" then a list of like 5 closes McD's pops up and I just have to say the line number and the gps will instantly voice route my way to it"
      But the radio/A/C heating area kinda sucks. It's touch screen. And you have to tap a little symbol to toggle between the two displays. So if you have the radio on and want to turn the A/C up you have to look down and tap a button to bring up the temperature controls. Then tap more buttons to adujst that. Then tap a symbol yet again to get back to the area that offers the radio / navigation stuff. It's an accident waiting to happen for someone.

      While I agree car companies need to start making and selling affordable EV's, you should do some research about the Chinese EV's. The biggest thing is that they could never be sold here with our DOT regulations and health and safety laws. Because of the corruption that permeates all aspects of Chinese society, they are quite dangerous. I've seen so many videos of brand new unsold EV's burning down on the lot, batteries exploding in accidents, cruise control 'auto-pilot' causing accidents, airbags not deploying in crashes and killing people, the electronic locks and door handles not operating after a crash and the occupants burning to death, etc. Let alone the quality of the parts and build quality/QC of the car itself. I think the biggest indicator is, why were there so few ICE car companies historically, and why do the majority of people drive non-Chinese cars...
