Interesting seeing the trainees wearing synthetic helmets. In Britain we didn't have synthetic fire helmets until the late 80s / early 90s. Some helmets were a British type, but quite a lot were Cairns Metro 660s, and a few were Bullard Firedome and FXEs.

Good video clip. rare find. in order to get there those kids had to have their stuff together..clean records, no arrest or dope.Had to be top shelf. as it should be!!!!!!!!!
50 years ago. Wonder how many of these guys made a full career out of the SFD and retired?
