Lovely little report. Gracious, free and concise: a glass of fresh clear water in a sea of turgid and turbid prose, the destination of most “streams”. Thank you.
I definitely had the same issue at first. Did a lot of trying different orders of plugging things into it. Once it all worked I’ve not touched it since.

Nice review and good device, but it‘s way too expensive. For 15 USD you get HDMI to USB converters! Webcam do cost way less and for less than 300 USD you get PTZ cameras with a 12x zoom, USB out and HDMI out with a remote included.
Hi sir, If it ain't much to ask, could you try to connect something else on the USB 2.0 port, like a usb microphone and see if it works? or is this port only meant to be used with the remote controller? Thank you very much!
I haven’t forgotten this request, just trying to find some time to try it. My expectation is that it won’t work, but I also expect it is something they could make work. The same port can take a flash drive for firmware updates, so it should be a normal USB port. I’ll let you know when I have a chance to try.
Hi Matt, thanks for your video. I just ordered one (uvc to hdmi adapter), but it doesn’t show any images. I’ve set it up to run through my ATEM. Is the remote essential to add? Thanks, Hidde
I had a couple of false starts with it. Remote not essential to getting a picture. Try re-plugging things in, in a different order. Power before HDMI etc. I think there might be a magic order. Mine has been on for weeks now, I just don’t touch it :)
Also to note, mine is through my Atem Extreme. I know there is a difference between HDMI 1 and the others on Atems. Mine is on HDMI 2, so that could be something.

My quality is really bad is there any way to update the obsbot firmware? Where and how
will this work eg with action cameras etc such as dji Osmo, Insta360 etc
The UVC to HDMI conversion should work with anything that outputs a UVC (webcam) output in USB-C. The remote part will only work with OSBot
Can you tell me the range of the remote? Will it work from 20-30 meteres too?
Thanks! Exactly what I’ve been looking for! Bought the remote, but it does not work.

@@mattlarge Okay, thanks. I'll give that a go too!
@@mattlarge Hi Mat, does it support the Audio/MIc from the Cam on the HDMI signal
@@ericli5949 yes it does
Thanks Matt for the review, I'm planning to buy one. How's the latency (display delay in your atem)?
I haven't noticed any significant delay. Maybe a few frames, but I tend to use it as a distance context camera so it doesn't effect me.
