Every year we have a Topless Jeep Day, (optional with roofs on or off) and we have over 200 Jeeps, all sorts, that drive up the Bruce Highway to a popular beach spot called Rainbow Beach, lots of fun, ferry crossing, bbq’s and you guys would love it!! I just gotta say...You guys Rock! We're a family of 5 also and we envy you guys and the memories you're making. 😊 We hope to (one day soon) get back to nature and really start living. It caught my attention when you said your fuel will go stale in your boat. I've been using this product called "Archoil AR6200" for about 4 years now and its incredible stuff. Big businesses use this stuff in their rooftop (or ground) backup generators. It basically preserves the fuel and keeps its combustibility for a very long time. It even makes old gas combustible again. Check it out when you can. Jay leno had the gentleman from Archoil on his UA-cam show and he really explains it in great detail. I also run the Archoil oil additive in all my vehicles. I believe it contains the element Boron which makes the oil adhere to the internal parts of the engine and reduces wear and tear. Anyhoot ,just thought I'd pass on a good product to some good people! 👍 Stay wild Epic Family! 😊

Friends have a Island in Georgian Bay also. Their Grandfather bought it and they built 3 cabins on it. Growing up when summer hit their parents would pack all 5 kids up and head to the island for the whole summer. Gorgeous area. And now extremely expensive.

Even when unexpected mishaps arise there is still a calm in the family. I also notice sir as the head of the family you never raise your voice or get out of character. $0.50 cent lynch pin that pops off can cause a lot if problems. Have lost them off my tractor driving thru brush got snapped open. Put them in from the top down. Hate putting them in a loose bolt that is going to rotate. In some situations I build me a bolt that I can put a cotter pin thru with enough length to keep the loose bolt from rotating, also use a washer above the cotter pin. Just cut the cotter pin off and install a new one each time. Need to replace the lynch pin if it does not snap shut on its on. They do that when they get rusty.

I WATCHED SLIM POTATOEHEADS VIDEO & HE HAD TO DO A 14 DAY QUARANTINE IN YUKON BEFORE HE COULD EXPLORE UP IN THE YUKON . I'M GLAD NOBODY GOTTEN HURT & THE DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES WASN'T BAD .
That sucks man. Same thing happened with me pulling a boat. The whole ball hitch came off and the boat and trailer when flying across the highway at about 60 mph. Luckily there wasn’t any major damage except for a bent trailer hitch.
Just a suggestion... it might be good practice to have a second person double check the trailer connections. And then pull over after a half hour or so to recheck again. Would be a good habit to get into. You really lucked out this time. Hopefully it will never happen again.
Espanola, Ont. I have good friends that live there. Actually a bit south of there and you can only get to their camp/home by boat in the summer and snowmobile in the winter.
