As usual, my man with a demo that is better than the official demo. Can we ask for you to do a full song using this "machine"? Thank you kindly, good sir.
The OB-E is a little more “girthy and unsubtle” compared to the OB-X. In my limited experience so far the OB-X sits in a mix a little more comfortably.
I have both and there is a little overlap particularly in the area of basic vco tones but the OBX is it’s own beast and is very much worth getting if only for the macro controls and the presets.
Hello, I have been watching your videos since 2020, and I wanna know, in 2021, I remember watching a video of your about the Outrun Passing Breeze remix, did you private or delete it? I liked it very much back then
Thank you jzeepozitron the outrun video I deleted it, because at that time I judged that it was poorly mixed but I will rework it and post it again thanks
Maybe its me being grumpy this morning as my cellar is flooded but i'm feeling disappointed by the demos so far. Other than a couple of presets im not hearing sounds that have the girth of the hardware..even on UA-cam, demos of the hardware can really have an emotional impact (i just listened to one to make sure). The sequence presets really dont do anything for me. Its the raw sound - huge warm brass sounds that would convince me. Does this have all the presets from the hardware? This is in my 'basket' ready to purchase but i already have the OPXII which has the OBX DNA all over it. Someone point me in the right direction pls. I have only listened to a couple of demos and its only the second day of release.
Sounds so good.
I have to say you sold me on this synth - sounds great.
thanks
I confirm, it's a monster

thank you very much for the compliment South Street 24Media I will try to do it, maybe
thanks again
Totally Changed my mind about this....OB-X IS a stunning vst coupled with SEM & CA PS3300 - the perfect trio imho.
Hi How does this compare to the GForce OB-E Version which is on sale for $99 $40 more than the OB-X version at $59

I wonder how this compares to opx pro II

This is the only Oberheim VST that is actually endorsed by Tom Oberheim himself. He knows what he’s talking about

Yes, I too wish the demos were smothered with FX. I've tried it myself and it's pretty gorgeous! It has a real presence which lots of vsts lack.
any difference to the arturia one?
Yes
way better.
Yes. It's a different synth. The Arturia is the OB-Xa (a later synth) and it's wonderful, though not as quite gritty as this.
I still prefer OP-X PRO-II from Sonic Projects - way better and more presets -
but it's definitely better than the Arturia one imho
