This is a story of how compassion and medical expertise came together to give a hobbling Tennessee steer named Dudley a new “leg” up on life. It's not every day a farm animal gets a prosthesis! - all thanks to "The Gentle Barn" animal sanctuary that was willing to save Dudley and a first-of-its-kind surgery at the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Center.

Oh my goodness, what a sweet boy Dudley is. I so wish I could meet him. I wonder how he is doing now .
God bless everyone who helped make it possible for him to have surgery, receive his prosthetic
and go on to have the wonderful life he deserves. The poor boy suffered so much.
